New credit card was stolen from my mail and used here for twice for $2000 and $1800. I would think it's standard business practice to verify identity for large and suspect transactions. Or was the owner/employee responsible?

Their “soul food” is dry and so nasty! Their customer service is just as bad. My second and last time ! They never speak when you walk in. The music is always too loud and the one who never combs her hair is always on her personal phone like she’s at home. They give lazy, dirty vibes. The fish tacos I had the time before were ok, but after yesterday I’m done. The Mac and cheese was amateurish. The dressing was the worst Ive ever had. The texture was like burnt oatmeal cookie crumble 🤮

DO NOT ORDER from this restaurant on Uber Eats. My second time ordering from them and never received my food. I ordered and waited almost two hours for the food and my ordered was cancelled TWICE on separate occasions I ordered from this spot. They need to be removed from Uber Eats bc it’s ridiculous

I originally visited this restaurant when they first opened a few years ago and had a bad experience that very first time. I ordered a chop steak dinner and the steak was so burnt it resembled a hockey puck. The manager compensated and I said I would try again. The compensation meal was also less than savory and over cooked. Yet I still tried AGAIN, thinking this time that it's years later and they should have their act together. Not so. Today I ordered the chop steak again, this time they gave me pieces of a square hamburger instead of the chop steak. 2 tiny pieces at that. With a tiny scoop of side items , cabbage and macaroni, and a small square of cornbread which the macaroni was over cooked. The price tag was 19.99. If they are struggling, I can understand why. I gave them more than enough chances to do better.
The sweet potatoes were too sweet, the peach cobbler was dry and not seasoned very well. The dressing was runny and way too salty. The salmon and rice with the cornbread was the best thing on the tray.
