Rated poor because I made the reservation at the end of the year. The restaurant closed permanently before my reserved date and I wasn't notified. Even received the robo confirmation text the day before. So imagine my surprise when I got there and it was pitch black all closed up.

I came back to Sociale because of a positive brunch experience, very friendly service, good food. However, this time my food was terrible. I had a $25 burger that was recommended but was overcooked and charred with bacon that was brittle. It also took 40 mins to get. Bad night in the kitchen I suppose.

We love this place and are sorry to see it is closing next week. Came today for saying our good bye and hoping it can stay open

The food was great and the service outstanding. Also a great value. Cocktails, appetizers, main courses and dessert for two under $200 - a rare find in Chicago!. A cold night in chicago so the restaurant was not crowded. But still an overall good experience. Will definitely return

it was amazing. the staff was super nice and attentive. the food was spectacular and the restaurant it's self was really clean, however we put in our reservation that it was our anniversary and they didn't do anything special for us :(

We went there for dinner on Saturday night during restaurant week. Wait staff was fine but restaurant was eerily empty for Saturday night which affected how I reviewed ambiance There was value to the Restaurant Week menu. But overall experience/menu didn't warrant 5 stars. We may try to go another time. Server said that they have a more bustling feel in the summer and for brunch.

I've been here several times and the food is always yummy. The maitre d was extremely nice and down to earth.

Overall the dining experience was good. The drinks needed a lot of help, but the service was decent.

Sociale is truly out of this world! With its upscale yet classy atmosphere, it strikes the perfect balance for any occasion. Whether you're stopping by for a casual brunch or a special morning out, this place sets the tone for a delightful experience from the moment you walk in.

The food, though, is what truly shines. We started with the Blueberry Pistachio Pancakes, and they were nothing short of divine. The fluffy pancakes were topped with a luscious blueberry-lemon compote that added a tangy sweetness, while the chopped toasted pistachios brought in a delightful crunch. The mascarpone whipped cream added a luxurious creaminess that perfectly balanced the dish. It was a refreshing and flavorful way to kick off our brunch light yet indulgent, and every bite was packed with contrasting textures and tastes that worked beautifully together.

But the real star of the show was the Sociale Benedict, and wow this dish was pure perfection. Picture tender beef medallions, cooked to perfection, nestled on top of toasted Bay's English muffins, each bite melting in your mouth. The poached eggs were flawlessly soft, their rich yolks blending with the creamy, vibrant orange-paprika hollandaise sauce. This hollandaise was unlike any I’ve ever had, with a subtle smoky kick that elevated the whole dish. And the crispy smashed potatoes on the side were the perfect complement, adding a savory crunch that completed the plate. Every bite felt luxurious and comforting at the same time, with the flavors coming together in a way that made it the undeniable highlight of the meal.

If you're looking for a brunch experience that combines elegance with incredible flavors, Sociale is an absolute must-visit. It was the perfect start to the day, and I’ll definitely be returning for more!

Great drinks and appetizers! My coworkers and I visited on Friday at 4pm for a happy hour/networking. It was not very busy at the time and we squeezed about 15 of us at a couple tables that we merged. We ordered an assortment of appetizers (I think every flatbread and the trio dip - whipped feta, guacamole, and spinach) and drinks. I started with a spicy margarita which I really enjoyed and their happy hour special was a wine flight - so I went with the sparkling, which was three small pours. As far as the food goes, we enjoyed everything. I especially liked the spinach dip and the prosciutto and bacon flatbreads. Service was good, I always appreciate when the waitstaff is equally friendly and attentive, especially with larger groups! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good spot to start the night.

Went there on a Saturday late afternoon in Chicago marathon weekend. The restaurant was not very busy. The waitress and the host were super rude and obnoxious to us. We decided to pay and leave. Their bad attitude totally ruined our night.

From the delicious food to the outstanding service, Sociale created a wonderful dining experience for our social event. Though we arrived about 20 minutes early, we were greeted warmly and escorted to dining area. They quickly came to meet our dining needs as other staff members setup our catering menu. My favorite items were the honey soy pork belly and the wild mushroom flatbread. So tasty! Thank you for pulling this together for our group in such a short amount of time.

Took 30 minutes for drinks to come. Then we ordered an appetizer. We didn’t see the waitress again for 45 min. At that point we didn’t have time to eat. We would have ordered food and more drinks but we didn’t get served

We went to Sociale for an annual conference and their team went above and beyond for us. I worked specifically with Martin who was able to help provide menu options within our budget for 25 guests and the food was AMAZING! Our waitress, Dawn, was absolutely wonderful and took such great care of everyone. All around a great experience and I would highly recommend Sociale to anyone who may have an upcoming event in Chicago!
