Four of us went to enjoy dinner at Sol de Mexico. From the spectacular margaritas to the amazing moles, we were all happy. It's a bit of a drive from where we live, but well worth it. My husband kept raving about the chicken in almond sauce. The mixed appetizer platter was outstanding. This restaurant is a cut above, and the service was excellent.

I have eaten all over the world and this place is top 3 for me. So many varieties of mole. Grilled meats are the highlight here - outstanding quality and the grill flavor is amazing. The seasoning of everything from the beans to the steaks is just so perfect. The menu changes pretty frequently which makes each visit exciting. The atmosphere is also really nice - very cozy and welcoming. The family who runs this place really knows what they are doing.

Everything tasted so good and they had homemade tortillas.
This place is probably the best authentic Mexican I’ve had in the city. The steak was juicy and delicious, the mole is out of this world, the guacamole is top notch, homemade salsas and tortillas, and everyone who works there is super nice. The chocolate tamal is also really great. I wish I took more photos so I could post here. Seriously couldn’t recommend it more!
