Lovely setting, but my poached eggs could have been used as coffee pucks. Service was lackluster.
Amazing attention from our server and the F&B manager—they truly made us feel very special! Food: 10/10 amazing flavors and presentation. Perfect for dinner with friends, a date, or birthday celebration!
The new menu (since Feb. 2025) is spectacular for brunch, I look forward to returning to try more menu items. Great service, quiet, gorgeous surroundings. Made a terrific impression on prospective clients.
Did not see our waitress at all after placing our order then asked and they said she had gone on break. Just poor service overall
We love the food. The service was superb. Jose is so professional and has such a good working knowledge of the menu
We went to Somerset on what started out to be beautiful summer day and then it started to rain. We were sitting outside in the patio. We moved to a table that was under an umbrella so that was nice. It's a very nice place unfortunately we ordered the chicken salad and it's made with a tarragon dressing and I do not like tarragon but everything else about the sale was very good. Also, someone got the club sandwich which they loved. And their Frenc fries are outstanding. Highly recommend going back.
Delicious brunch salads, very comfortable patio seating, a quiet oasis in the busy Rush St environment.
Great location, great design, good food. I want to like this place and return more often but they cannot find and keep consistent servers. Either too new or too focused on their tables only. (If you're standing around and see a table that wants water, get the water. Don't fetch the server)
We very quickly needed it a brunch location for eight people. I was extremely happy. I found Somerset and will recommend it to others when visiting Chicago.
I went to Somerset with my mom and sisters, and it was a complete disappointment. The food was cold, the avocado was brown, and we even found hair in the French toast. On top of that, the service was incredibly slow. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Britten was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, warm and friendly, and a great sense of humor! Marcus the manager was very attentive and accommodating. I would definitely refer guest to dine here. Service 10/10!!!

A beautiful, spacious restaurant with great service and tasty food. Can accommodate larger groups if needed. The pesto brussel sprouts were a favorite!

Was staying at the hotel and popped in with my boyfriend for a quick bite and a drink. We split the wagyu burger which was delicious. Food was great, and the service was even more phenomenal. Xavier, the floor manager sent over a couple of complementary glass of champagne since he knew we were celebrating. He was so friendly and professional. Overall from the host, bartender and waiter everyone was so attentive! Interior design was also gorgeous. Would totally recommend for a cute little date night spot, will certainly be back!
