I’m certain their “wood fired” is a frozen pizza! It looks and tastes like a greasy, frozen supermarket (generic brand) pizza. This is also not a pizzeria but sold by Social Restaurant.

We had some quality issues with our takeout pizza order but the employees we talked to to resolve the problem were very kind and apologetic, they take pride in their work so we're going to try again another day! Excellent customer service, the spicy Italian sausage pizza topping was really good!

So disappointed- pizza was almost inedible, cardboard crust, burned, and lacking some advertised ingredients. Did not look anything like the photos. Cheap frozen pizza would have been improvement and would not have cost $28(plus tip and tax).

Honestly I really enjoyed this pizza. Good flavors coming from sausage that carried some spice, provolone cheese, fresh basil, and that "old world" style wood fire crust. Has that unique char aspect that with proper execution is great. All those components are high points but end up falling flat as a dry pizza that you need a drink to pair it with. A little more cheese or sauce can help this. I'd order from here again without hesitation, I would just order my pizza differently.

I was walking by Social and always wanted to try their food, so today was the day.I ordered Wood Roasted Chicken Salad and it was delicious. The portion was small compare to its price.

I have tried contacting the restaurant several times since our visit. Please never order from here. This pizza was not even edible. Wood fired ok but this was burned. This is the actual WORST pizza I have had since coming to Chicago and I will never order from here again or recommend it to anyone that likes to eat food.

We decided to try this place when our usual brick oven pizza placed was closed for the holiday. We ordered the chicken salad, margarita pizza, and zeppoles. I made it through half of the salad before it decided it wasn't going to be eaten. I can only suspect food poisoning from this. The pizza was straight up burnt. See below. I would not recommend nor will I return.

Honestly, it is very difficult for me to give this place a three star. The service or lack of service really down graded this from a potential four star to three star. We got there at 1 on Sunday and they're quite busy to the point that we barely got any service from our waitress. It took 15 minutes to just get water then another 45 minutes to wait for food which is fair. However, after we received the food the waitress just disappeared. Didn't check on us at all, no refill on the water, took forever for her to bring the check. Aside from service I want to talk a little bit about the food. Both of the flatbreads were done well, the crusts were very delicious. I really like the magherita one, but the shrimp one is a little too heavy of the sauce. French omelette was a little disappoint. Shrimp salsa has to be one of the worst thing I got, barely anything and didn't taste good. Blueberry pancake was meh ($5 not worth). Printer breakfasts sausage is really good but other than that is very average. Portobello sandwich, do not get this nothing about it is good. The fries were disappointing as well. The Brussels sprouts is probably their best, would highly recommend. After putting everything together, I think it really deserve a 2-3 star. A nice place to bring someone but the food and service aren't there. If you do go I recommend the Brussels sprouts and the flatbread

I visited this place during the winter in 2020, so the menu may have changed . But let me tell you about this chicken tortilla soup! The absolute best I've ever experienced in my life. I ordered another bowl!! If they're discontinued this, then I hope the soup gods reverse such misfortune. Secondly , their wings delight the taste buds, too. I don't remember anything else except their wings, and the soup stirred by an angel's finger!

The service is SLOW, and when they do come by they don't even do their job anyways. Could never get refills, and waited very long for anything to ever be done. Everything about my experience was very underwhelming, considering the menu sounds like it would be amazing. The only thing good about the entire night was the crab cake. The oak steak ribeye was completely raw when we received it, the Wagyu was also. The asparagus was raw as well, so crunchy me and my girlfriend could hardly chew threw it. We got the ribeye and asparagus sent back, but to no avail the steak was now over done, and the seasonings and capers that were originally on the asparagus were not replaced with more. Just both thrown back on the grill sloppily. I would never recommend going there unless you want to overpay for crap service and dog crap food.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience. The menu reads amazing but did not translate into taste. Couple that with slow, inattentive and couldn't be bothered service. Not recommended.

Came into town from California with my hubby and best friend. Ordered some pizza when it arrived it was burnt, cold and stiff and a cracker also brittle. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed by the time it arrived and we were left with out dinner. Being out of state and everything closed we were left with no dinner.
