I can't think of a better steakhouse experience than Sophia Steak. The atmosphere was spot on, comfortable, great service and perfectly executed food. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Put it on your list if you want a nice night out that you'll thoroughly enjoy!

Sophia Steak is hands down one of the most incredible dining experiences in Chicago.
From the moment you walk in, the luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere sets the tone for something special.

The steaks here are absolute perfection expertly aged, seared to juicy, mouthwatering tenderness, and seasoned just right.

The sides and starters are equally stellar, showcasing bold flavors and elegant presentation. Add in an exceptional wine list and attentive service that makes you feel truly pampered, and you’ve got a night to remember.

Sophia Steak isn’t just a meal it’s a celebration of fine dining that leaves you dreaming about your next visit. 12/10 🫶🏾👌🏾

The $35 bottomless brunch drink package cannot be beat. All of the cocktails are outstanding and the food is reasonably priced and high quality. Definitely recommend the fried chicken sandwich and the Gold Coast Club. Great happy hour as well. Service is always superb.

I was there last night celebrating my birthday and everything was perfect🥰 I order the skirt steak and I can tell it was the best steak I ever ate! My boyfriend order a salmon and it was perfect too. Our server was really nice✨ all the employees are so helpful. This place 10/10❤️ of course I’ll be back when I visit Chicago again.

My colleague and I decided to celebrate a birthday dinner at Sofia’s Steakhouse in Chicago—and it was absolutely worth it! The services and atmosphere set the tone for a great evening.

We ordered the Ribeye, which was incredibly tender and packed with a unique, rich flavor that stood out from anything we’ve had before. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone amazing—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The appetizers were also top-notch, and every dish felt crafted with care.

A special shoutout to the bartender, who truly elevated the whole experience. Friendly, skilled, and attentive—he made our night even more memorable.

Highly recommend this place for a special occasion or simply a great meal in the city. Will definitely be coming back!

We started with the potato and caviar croquettes, which were flawless. The breading was light and crisp, giving way to a rich, creamy filling. The caviar added a beautiful pop of flavor with its subtle nuttiness, perfectly balanced and truly memorable.

The super green salad exceeded expectations. I’m not usually a fan of kale, but this was exceptional. Crisp asparagus stems, broccoli, and pistachios added layers of texture, while the shaved Parmesan and a hint of chili flakes tied everything together beautifully.

For the main, we shared the 32-ounce, 45-day dry-aged porterhouse, cooked medium rare. It was exceptional, deeply flavorful, incredibly tender, and needed no sauce at all (though four were provided). The dry aging lent a nuanced complexity that reminded me of jamón ibérico, with a delicate nuttiness and subtle wine-like depth.

Service was warm and attentive, and the outdoor seating made for a lovely, relaxed evening.

An outstanding experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this place.

Awesome hospitality from our server Kaya! He was fantastic, excited to dine in his section again soon. Food was great, I really enjoyed the super green vegetable salad with salmon (great portion size) and my friends loved their steaks. Dessert was great too and my Zinfandel was really good. Space is really nice, cozy but upbeat too and crowd was great.

Went here for lunch and it was amazing! We ordered the skirt steak, lump crab cake, truffle parm fries, chocolate cake, and toffee bread pudding. Everything was delicious. The skirt steak and crab cake were both delicious and tender. The sauces they were paired with enhanced the flavors and didn’t feel heavy. The fries were thick cut and had a nice light crunch. The dipping sauce was delicious. The desserts were also really good! The toffee bread pudding was warm and moist, not too sweet, and paired with ice cream. The cake slice was big, but was also not heavy like other chocolate cakes. The hazelnut layers added a little crunch to each bite. The taste of the cake reminded me of ferrero rocher chocolate. The staff were also very kind and attentive. They filled our water often and came by regularly to ask how we were. The atmosphere inside was very quiet and fancy. The booths were very comfortable. They also have an outdoor patio area with plants and shade. Highly recommend this place and looking forward to coming back!

Wow just wow. I’m rarely impressed by a restaurant let alone enough to write a review, but I can’t say enough good things about our experience last night.

Dare I say... Sophia steak puts Gibson's steakhouse to shame. For the value and taste, I’ll be coming back here every time!

Service and food were incredible. If you're looking to have a special evening come here. The restaurant is gorgeous inside.

We started with the wedge salad which is a 10/10. Then we got the Prime Flat Iron which was the best steak I've ever had and l've been to Joe's, Gibsons, Mastros, etc.

We shared the onion rings which were good but nothing amazing.

Finished with the peanut butter pie which was 10/10 incredible!!! Perfectly sweet and salty balance. If you like chocolate and peanut butter you must try...l'd come back just for it.

One of my new favorites in the Gold Coast. The space is classy but comfortable, and the service is spot-on.

The burrata with roasted beets was a standout, creamy, fresh, and beautifully balanced with citrus. I followed it with the 10oz flat iron steak Sophia style, cooked perfectly and topped with herbed butter. Every bite was rich and flavorful.

I also tried the “I Can Buy Myself Flowers” cocktail. Light, floral, and just sweet enough, it felt like treating myself.

Great food, great vibes. Definitely coming back.

Really nice outdoor patio, service is good, salad was swimming in dressing and that’s all you can taste is dressing, tuna tartar sauce was good but that’s all you can taste. Now prime rib had no taste whatsoever, very flat. Seems like it’s a good hamburger place.
