1st time visiting! The ambience, food and service was amazing. I'll definitely be back. Thank you got a wonderful experience.
Let me start by saying walking is was a vibe lol was greeted. Started at the bar to wait for my sister. Drinks made by lady was everything. Was told of specials very nice atmosphere. Our waitress Ladonna was exceptional she was the best very relatable great customer service polite and very helpful. Definitely making many visit in the future. Great experience food was bomb we was able to meet the owner she greeted our table was very nice and polite. 10/10 overall
Everyone in the restaurant was very inviting. The music was not to loud. Nice selection of food options. The food was cooked to order, and delicious.
I had a great time and food was good . I recommend it perfect place to bring friends or date
I placed a pick up order for the catfish special with string beans, grits, and dirty rice as the sides along with strawberry banana pudding. I arrived to the take out side of the building no one was there. After waiting I decided to call the establishment to let them know I was on the other side. I did not receive my side of grits, the dirty rice was hard and the string beans were mushy/watery. I also had to go back to get the pudding that was supposed to be with my order. Overall the service and food left much to be desired.

Overall experience was poor. We didn't get our drinks til after the food came out. The food was delightful! Friend chicken perfect! I informed my server of a seafood allergy when I ordered the blacken chicken pasta. The food came out and it was shrimp pasta with fried salmon. On top of everything the tv was playing 12 years a slave which ruined the vibe and showcased nudity.
We chose Soule Chicago for our New Year's date night, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone for a perfect evening. The food was absolutely top tier — every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. The drinks were just as impressive: perfectly crafted, well-balanced, and strong enough to enjoy without being overwhelming. Pair that with exceptional service — attentive, friendly, and professional without ever feeling rushed — and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The music was a added vibe as well This was worth every single penny, and then some. Soule Chicago delivered an unforgettable New Year's day date experience for us, and we will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend for date night or any special occasion.
Food was terrible low quality , like how did yall mess up lamb chops ? This place is over hyped like they need to work on absolutely everything

Hair in my wife's food. Unfortunately, she ate some of the food when she found it and the restaurant charged us half price. It was insinuated that the hair was my wife's even though my wife has sister locks and the hair that was in the food felt synthetic, and weave-like. Food was seasoned mildly, and portion size for the sides were on the smaller side.
When we arrived we couldn't help but notice how beautiful this restaurant is! The staff was very friendly. Paris was our waiter. He was amazing!! The fried green tomatoes were so flavorful! We both got the “Down in the Delta” and let me tell you we both tore that plate up! Even after boxing up my leftovers I couldn't stop eating it! The drinks were made perfectly and baby that peach cobbler with the ice cream. Whew chile!!!!!! Baby just make the reservation. Everything was a 10/10! May be my new favorite black owned restaurant in the city!
Food is to salty
Drinks were good
Some of the food was okay. The dirty rice was dry, the shrimp and grits were different to the point only ate the shrimps. My blacken chicken and pasta was okay. The drinks were good.
