Soul & Smoke - West Loop at Accenture Tower

I had the loveliest experience here. Soul food is a genuinely apt name for what they offer. I was met with the friendliest service and attentive help in finding a meal option that fit my dietary restrictions. That alone was a gift but the food itself was so delicious!! And it was prepared so quickly. I was hoping to grab something nourishing before catching the train and am so grateful I found this place!!

I recently visited Soul & Smoke, and alongside the great food, I wanted to highlight the excellent customer service I received from Brandon. I actually came back to the food court planning to eat at another spot, but Brandon’s welcoming attitude and enthusiasm completely sold me on trying Soul & Smoke instead. He made the experience even better — definitely the kind of service that makes you want to return.

I ordered the brisket sandwich - it didn’t taste remotely smoked and was practically bathed in BBQ sauce and waaaaaaaay too sweet. Why wouldn’t you have the sauce on the side??

I ordered the Apple Slaw side and it was saccharine sweet. Urghh. Hard pass. I will not be visiting again. Soul & Smoke used to be outstanding but not anymore.

This place is amazing! Not only is it close to job, it is a weekly MUST STOP for lunch! Not going to sugarcoat the pricing, but you get what you pay for AND that's saying a mouthful with all the other options available nearby.

The staff like Gregg & Tim are there most days and their preparation of your order, you can tell is a labor of love. Had nearly all food offerings & is a delight to your tongue! Stop by and tell em Will w/ the walking stick sent you

Had the shrimp and grits and the wife had a southern chopped salad. Was absolutely delicious!

I stopped in this place after seeing it on the news or something, I ordered the brisket(4oz) Mac and cheese(6oz) total price $19.35 the brisket was a tad bit too salty, the Mac and cheese was delicious. What I don’t like about my experience is, the cashier added a service fee(1.45) to my total , didn’t say why , he just added it. I did want to try a cocktail but I was afraid that if I ordered again I would get charged another service fee.

Just tried this in the train station. We loved it! Not much service, as we used the kiosk. The food was all fantastic. We had brisket sandwich with greens and smoked sausage with rb&r. We’d order it all over again!

Just had a super disappointing experience with Soul and smoke and Uber eats… I placed this order around 7 pm on a Monday night and although I was able to order as an option apparently they were sold out of brisket- Which was pretty much half of our meal. Instead of trying to contact me via phone or cancel the order on Uber eats They deliver my order without the brisket and a note telling me to contact Uber Eats…. They didn’t even try to include something to substitute the brisket! Pretty bad customer service- To top it off the rib tips were super dry! Go to Wilma’s instead
