“The bartender Rob made a lovely old fashioned for my first drink and then I switched to beer. The local selection was on point! Ordered the smoked wings, will come back for just those alone. Live music by summer of George was awesome as well. Had a great 90’s alternative sing along vibe. Strongly recommend checking this place out especially if you live in the neighborhood.“

“First time visit and they're already a fav! I had the sunrise biscuit sandwich and it was phenomenal! The biscuit was moist and the spicy chicken was a perfect heat level! Sebastian was a delight! He helped us pick the flavors and ended up stirrups is with an order of the Dirty Bird to share..Mac, fries, chicken, pepper and sauce HEAVEN! The Strawberry Palmer tea needs to be in stores! We even took food home!“

“I had the pleasure of dining at Sweet Maple Cafe in the 9th District, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share my experience! The food was absolutely incredible—each bite was a delightful treat. A special shoutout to Twilla, the manager, and her wonderful staff, who made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality. Supporting our local businesses is so important, and Sweet Maple Cafe is a shining example of the quality and care we have in our community. “OMG, when I say coming here was well worth the drive! Their chitterlings are freaking 🔥🔥🔥🔥! Hot sauce was not needed at all either. Their rib tips and sides were delicious as well. Great customer service too! I will gladly be back!“

““What do you recommend about Wishbone Restaurant?” Absolutely everything. My first visit (from Baltimore) in 2022 was perfect. Everything from the food to the service to the drinks. My second visit in 2025 managed to top the previous trip. Such a fantastic experience and great conversation. The *N.C. Style crab cake* was impressive ~ this coming from a Marylander 🤓 Keep up the great food & atmosphere!“

“Family friendly restaurant. I had the half chicken dressing, greens. Chicken was not hot, and it was in a warmer, greens was okay, dressing was good, and everybody knows, cranberry sauce goes with dressing, the cup, was so small (1/2 teaspoon) extra one is quarter (they don't tell you when ask for it). pet peeve with restaurants stingy with condiments, food not being hot.Try it for yourself.“

“Joe was a great waiter. Informative and service oriented. I had a great dining experience. Fresh Pea Salad; with a sparkling Rose; chicken and banana pudding were my guilty pleasures. And it was all well worth it.“
