Wonderful time at Southern. Service and staff are amaze.
The Good News: The restaurant's aesthetic is striking--an elegant, visually compelling space that sets high expectations.
The Bad News: Those expectations are swiftly undermined by a front-of-house operation so fundamentally broken that one questions whether management understands what constitutes acceptable service in the hospitality industry.

My visit during the soft opening was quite disappointing. I thought I would give the restaurant another chance to meet my expectations today. On both visits, the food arrived at room temperature. Today, I was hopeful to leave that experience behind. I arrived with two friends at 11:30 am, the scheduled opening time, but we were told to wait a few minutes before they could let us in.
