The spoon is not there. Bring your own utensils, the food is not very good the prices are to higher for what you get and when they ask you if you want the dinner they don’t tell you they don’t have spoons and the for and knife are tiny and week. You have better luck with the taco truck at Clark and Monroe
Urban Space is the coolest hidden gem. They have a ton of amazing food options right in the heart of the Loop.
I can never get myself to get anything but Spanglish there! The tacos are so delicious, the food is fresh. Very authentic, seasoned amazing. I dream of this place.
Friendly staff. Quick service! You have to try, but disclaimer: you probably will never want to eat anywhere else when your shopping/spending time near state street!
I have been to Spanglish twice now and completely turned off by the service. I never even post reviews like this but I really wanted to have a better experience this time, since the food was so good. But would it hurt to smile? Or provide some kind of appreciation for the business? I genuinely feel like the employees are annoyed by my business, so fine, I’ll go somewhere else. It’s super unfortunate since once again, the food was very good.

Tried both the steak burrito bowl and three taco meal (chicken, pork, steak) and liked the variety of flavors etc. Hope this food hall grows in popularity as several stalls appear to be in process of opening.

I had pastor tacos and horchata for lunch at Spanglish. The tacos were okay, but I’ve had better. The horchata, however, was quite good. This place is decent if you're very hungry and need a quick Mexican meal, but don’t expect exceptional food.

$12 for a stake burrito is quite decent, and they don’t fill it with cheap ingredients like rice and tons of beans. The meat quality is consistently very good, I never stumble on a piece tendon or cartilage as often happens in other places.

Horrible service. Menu says they serve side of RICE, so I ordered two orders of rice, turns out it was Spanish rice that they serve so I asked if they could give me a portion or chicken or something else instead but they weren’t even ready to work with me. I was willing to pay extra if needed. The WORST service!!!!
