Happy to have supported a small business. The food was fresh and hot however, the description of the dish and the model pictures do not look like the food I received. It was just okay but lacking the flavor and presentation I expected. And it was mostly white rice.
This is my go to restaurant when I don’t feel like cooking. You can call in or order inside but remember this is not a fast food place. They make the food fresh. The staff and the owner Mr OCajun always makes me feel welcomed. I’ve tried the chicken, salmon dinner, rib tips, jambalaya , macaroni , sweet potatoes, string beans and the tacos. My favorite is the homemade caramel cake. It’s a must try and I really hope they succeed in the neighborhood.
Delicious, authentic Cajun food, incredibly affordable, and excellent service with very friendly servers. Great place to eat if you're visiting the Garfield Conservatory, or want to picnic in the park. They have a 3 tacos for $5 special and they're delicious!
