Wow the lengua and al pastor are so flavorful and juicy. Definitely worth a try. Might be one of my favorite taco spots in Chicago now. Plus the price is very reasonable

Love the food! Both to go and order in; partner and I have done both a number of times and are never disappointed. Go-tos include the Al pastor, chille relleno and cochinita pibil tacos and the flan for dessert. S/o to the gorgeous music and the friendly service.

I have nothing but great things to say about Spicy Taco! My gf and I have had it 4 times in the past week 😂 (not an exaggeration). Their arrachera and al pastor tacos are delicious!!! And today we tried their tortas, everything was authentic, fresh, and tasty! We will be coming back every week now 😋

Torta ribeye: delicious. Great bread and meat as well as the fillings. For $10, that’s a very good value for its size and taste.
Taco al pastor: expected price just under $4. Tasty.

You can probably ignore any reviews 3 stars or below for this place because they're objectively inaccurate or invalid. If you're a regular customer and you liked everything as usual, but your taco was a little heavy on the onions or whatever... no that does not earn your experience 3 stars. Get out of here with that. Support this place, because they're the best Mexican restaurant in Avondale - never been disappointed here. The food and service is great, and their delivery is under 25 minutes every time like clockwork from the time I place the order. How do they do it?? *Be warned though, the salsa is super delicious but very hot if you're not used to it.
