Spiteful Brewing Tap Room

Love the vibe here...very chill and relaxing. The staff are great and friendly. The beer 🍺 is good. A good variety to choose from whether it be a lager, IPA, or an ale.

First time at Spiteful brewing and it was exactly what you might expect from an independent brewery. Good selection of beers, good location and it looks like they have a very nice outdoor seating area out front.

This day was not conducive to outdoor seating, but I imagine this is a great location during the summer months.

My favorite brewery! Really friendly service, and delicious fresh cold brews from the refreshing Grapefruit Raddler, smooth layers, to darker, stronger and different beers for any taste.

The smattering of food is great from sharing a pizza with friends to noshing a soft pretzel on your own pizza (really though, big enough for a 4 person snack).

The outside area is bigger every year and a great place to meet people!

And Spiteful is a great neighbor. They are always supporting Bowmanville and the surrounding area.

Visited May 2024. Nice little brewery. Had a couple of beers here which was quite nice! Nice location by the street including a outdoor seating.
I was here mid day relatively early so it was i quiet day when I was there. This was a short stay on my way to Half Acre (nabours) but would love to check out some more of their beers next time in Chicago!

Spiteful Brewing Tap room is a relaxed, comfortable space with a wide variety of beers (to drink on premises or take away.)
I had the vienna lager and an IPA. Both were super tasty. My friends and I shared a large pretzel served piping hot with generous dollop of mustard. I am excited to go again soon.

Spiteful is situated in a quaint neighborhood setting near Clark st in Andersonville. The tap room has a nice patio and open seating with a wide range of beers to choose from on tap!

Chilled out hang out place with a fantastic selection of brews. Dogs are welcome indoors too, which is great as the temperature outside gets lower. You could also bring in food from elsewhere. I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood to spend some time outside with your two/four legged friends while sipping some delicious beers!

Great place to stop with friends! Beer is awesome and the staff are very kind. The outdoor setting is really nice and I'd love to come back and they can open the beautiful garage doors to the outside.

Wonderful little taproom just on the edge of Andersonville.

This place has more of a relaxed / hole in the wall / neighborhood vibe. Great place to grab some beers and hang out. The patio is really comfortable—you can easily spend hours here.

The beers are great and they rotate them pretty frequently so you’re likely to find something new every time.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Everyone behind the bar has always been more than happy to explain the menu or provide tasters if you’re not sure.

Definitely happy to have Spiteful in the neighborhood.

We managed to visit on a beautiful October afternoon, so we were able to take advantage of the (dog-friendly) patio area. Very nice neighborhood atmosphere, and a great selection of beer from light to dark and in between. Nice amount of space if you need to sit inside. Friendly staff too --- definitely plan on visiting again!
