This is not their fault directly, but please be careful when placing an order through Uber Eats for this restaurant, because if a problem arises they won't be able to help you, honestly, I don't recommend ordering through Uber Eats at all as I was trying to purchase a deal that was being offered through Uber Eats, a buy one get one free deal, and I noticed that the app did not charge me correctly for doing this, so I tried to reach out to the restaurant for assistance to cancel this order, this is something that other restaurants have helped me out with in the past but this restaurant stated that they were unable to do so and they let me know to contact Uber Eats which I did, and in the process of trying to correct this issue, I was charged for an order that I believe was probably not prepared at that moment as this order was cancelled not too long after being placed, I ended up paying almost $20 for nothing but hungriness. So, please pay close attention when dealing with this restaurant and Uber Eats to what they are charging, I honestly wished this wasn't missed until after the restaurant confirmed the order because now I am just starving with no help from Uber Eats. It's inflation season and we don't need to be wasting money.

Online ordering isn't updated properly was the first issue. Porkchops were tough and not flavourful at all. Rich and gravy could have used a little.vutter or salt to it also. Greens and chicken weren't bad. But not being able to choose Mac and cheese as a side with my dinner is crazy. They literally told me I would have to buy the Mac and cheese separate if I wanted it.

I ate the porkchops from here and it was very good, the tenderness of the meat was on point ?!!! The service from everyone was sweet! The sever and the chef was very nice and checked if we were all good ?. The vibes if the place felt welcoming that I felt like I was at home ?. My mom and I stopped in from Indy. My mom ordered smothered chops white rice gravy and corn. I was immediately impressed when she said let me drop your pork chops. I ordered oxtails and cornbread. (they were sold out of the oxtails soup impressive as well) Cornbread was off in my opinion. All I can say is food was fresh, smoking hot,tender very tasty.We will visit again. Service was excellent

Jerome and the staff were very respectful and helpful throughout my entire visit on 6/29/24. The vegan options were made to order and very delicious. In addition the soul food order I placed was very delicious as well. Our order consisted of veggie stir fry, vegan chili, catfish, mac and cheese, collard greens and sweet potatoes. All items were delicious and well seasoned. If you are in the Austin area, stop by and give them a try. Until next time, thank you for a wonderful experience

Man o Man! Like your mother or auntie made it!!!!! We had a huge order that didn't take long at all! Went here for the soul food will be back for the fast food! Everything was seasoned to perfection. These have to be the best GREENS and Spaghetti from a restaurant I've ever had. Plentiful amounts of good southern style soulfood! Meatloaf smothered porkchops and fried fish was damn good! That strawberry shortcake Nana pudding was ?????omg!!! Don't walk RUN!!!!! Get there!

The chef and owner Evelyn is the sweetest! I love the variety on the menu...many healthy options and everything is fresh!
