This is cool place, but I am demanding when it comes to coffee. My late wasn't hot and tasty enough.

Super cool and chill West Town coffee shop. Unpretentious arty vibe, good music, and excellent coffee. Mark, the owner, is a good dude and runs the kind of biz you'll want to support. Do it! (gluten free do it was also excellent)

Loved this place! Great coffee and snack collections. Nostalgic ambiance and vibe with 90's gaming console like Nintendo and VCR for movies! WOW. Had Real fun here. Will go back if visiting Chicago.

Staff is always nice and the cafe Tola tacos are such a filling breakfast! However, the coffee prices here are extravagant. I also got cold brew on Monday morning and it must have been rancid or something. Neither me nor my friend could stand more than a couple sips before we tossed it. I would have taken it back but i unfortunately had meetings and work keeping me in.

This place is so cool! I loved walking into what felt like a time capsule with really fun specialty coffee options. I tried the vanilla lavender latte and paid $1 more for oat milk. Always worth it to keep a cool place like this running. Thank you to the friendly barista! Don’t forget to check out the back patio :) feels like home

I’ve lived in the city for 15 years in various neighborhoods throughout and this one takes the cake as my favorite café.
Standing Passengers serves delicious coffee, they carry tasty donuts, Cafe Tola breakfast tacos, and make their own sandwiches.

Food & Drink: I just finished my Turkey and Cheddar sandwich and it was amazing. The bread was chewy and soft, the cold cuts top tier, and the cheddar with the bed of their lettuce mix really hit the spot. Previously, I've had their old fashioned donuts and the blueberry as well as the apple fritter. Can't go wrong by adding a donut to your favorite coffee. My go-to is the Iced Americano or straight espresso + drip.

Vibe: Special mention to the folks who run the cafe, they are all wonderful, welcoming people and I look forward to seeing them when I come in. I love to swing by and stay awhile when I need to get out of the crib to change the scenery while I am WFH. The interior aesthetics are amazing and fun to experience. For me, it's like a walk down memory lane of my childhood sleepovers with all the OG video game consoles (GoldenEye N64 multi-player, come on!), skateboards on the wall, the skeleton up front, and the neon lights they got set up inside. I usually bring noise-cancelling headphones for cafes with the tendency to play terrible or unfamiliar music, but whoever's in charge of the music they play in the background has great taste. Exceptional taste, I'd say, and certainly something I took note of and made a point to come back to visit.

It is a nice coffee shop with a great ambiance and decoration, featuring old-fashioned video games to play. They offer a wide range of coffees, both hot and iced, along with some pastries and breakfast tacos. However, I found the coffee options too sugary for my taste, and the pastries appeared old. I would come back to try the breakfast tacos and regular coffee to improve the rate.

Coffee is bad. It was way too hot, and smelled of plastic (I don’t know if it was the milk, the cup, or the cap, but coffee had a strange smell and I ended up not drinking it). They also only take cards which is annoying.
