This was my first time at this location, and Dimitri was my first impression of Stan’s coffee here in Hyde Park. He was professional, courteous, and pleasant to encounter at 6 AM in the morning. I love good customer service and his customer service was on point!
As I sat and observed, Sabrina It was also great to witness her level of customer service.
This was an overall great experience.

The STAFF IS SUPER RUDE . I come in and it’s no line . This was my first time in Stan’s Donut . I’m obviously asking about different drinks and the donuts and the staff is so rude . She told me to step down as if not to ask her any questions . She works in the morning and has a very obnoxious attitude and is not pleasant to the eye to look at . She appears as if she just rolled out of bed . Horrible service !

I called in with a quirky question and even while being busy in the background the associate Liz was warm and friendly. Liz offered a solution to an on-going little issue that I was having and was super polite. Thank you Liz, you were a bright spot in a dark day I was having.

I was very disappointed with my recent experience. The staff asked for my rewards number but had no idea how to use the app or help me find it, so I had to spend extra time figuring it out on my own. During this time, the employee kept pressuring me to pay without using my rewards, even though I clearly showed her my QR code and told her I had an active account.
To avoid holding up the line, I kindly let the person behind me go ahead. After I finally located instructions online—and two customers had already paid—the staff told me I had to go all the way back to the end of the line.
This was frustrating, unfair, and shows a lack of proper training. I hope the store addresses this issue.

I visit this location at least three times a week and every time feels like the most amazing way to start my day. From the staff greeting me by name, smiling, making eye contact and genuinely engaging with me I’m always in awe. They are friendly, have a high sense of urgency without a rushed feeling and always put a smile on my face. Thank you Tiffany, Marquita, and team. And a special thank you to Sabrina for how you lead by example and setting the bar high, you can tell a great leader by the people who support them. I genuinely appreciate you all and how you show up consistently!

While the overall donut selection is smaller compared to some of the larger chains, what they do offer is consistently high quality. We enjoyed the classic Glazed and a coconut—both were fresh and perfectly executed. The real standout, however, was the Iced Coffee. It was strong, smooth, and refreshing, making it the perfect companion for the donut. Parking is tricky to find.

Great donuts and very sweet employees. We particularly liked the mushroom latte with the cold foam.
I have been coming to this location for over a year and haven’t been able to get a glaze doughnut once. It doesn’t matter how early I arrive y’all are always sold out. It’s a shame I have to drive all the way up North to be able to get a glaze doughnut and coffee when I live one block away. Something is clearly amiss with whoever is doing the projections.
