This place is such a gem. We were in town for the weekend and found this place next to our hotel. The atmosphere gives off a retro diner vibe but with a modern chic vibe. The service is awesome, the young women are cordial and friendly. They even got to know my son by his name who went there every day to buy coffee and sandwiches for his grandma. The donuts are delicious. Definitely will come back when we visit our daughter in Chicago.

A classic place to get those calories. I Like to stop by and get the black thunder coffee which is chocolate milk and coffee mix. As for the donut I like the butterfinger donut and the vegan donuts are good as well.

Honestly, one of the best venues in Hyde Park for donuts, breakfast sandwiches and solid coffee. The quality of the coffee of starbucks has been terrible ever since their new CEO. Stans in hyde park has become apart of many of my friends and law student friends at u of c staple. Camille and staff are super delightful. Highly recommend you get the keto sandwich as it's my personal favorite.
