Order: Dinner General Tso(chicken, shrimp fried rice,egg roll), Sm Crab Ragoon, & Crispy Sesame Chicken.
General Tso was meh, not the worst I've had, but doesn't align with what I know as General Tso chicken.
Shrimp Fries Rice was bad. Either the Wok they used was just washed and not rinsed well, or they season with Dawn.
Egg Roll was also bad not a fan of the taste, can't put my finger on what was offfl about it. Nice and crispy outside though.
Crab Ragoon has the vegetable-y filling taste. Not a fan. It was also mostly air in the overly crispy casing.
White rice was good 👍🏾
Crispy Sesame Chicken was good. Sweet but not really tasting the sesame. Probably the only thing I would order again.
$45 Spent most of it will be wasted.

This is my first time to this restaurant. The restaurant is inconspicuous, with only a few dining tables, but the taste is very good! I ordered 3 dishes and we really liked them all. Will come again and try more dishes! It's my first choice in this area now！

I have been eating from Stareast for more than 20 years and had no idea there were new owners. I had a complaint about a regular dish I and my family order. There was a lack of flavor, the shrimp was overcooked and tasted old, for this dish to be chop suey they barely added any bean sprouts. It seems to me they slammed the dish with vegetables that would typically NOT be used in chop suey. Then I was taken back by the lack of carelessness of the manager that I spoke to. I brought my concerns to her and she told me "well no one has complained before" instead of asking is there something I can do to make things better? Such as replacing (swap out) the dinner or providing a partial refund. She didn't bother, she didn't care about my concerns. Pretty sad to say the least, a loyal customer of 20yrs they have lost. If I was able to give a less than 1 star I would do it in a heartbeat. Customer service is lacking big time.
