Today I ordered the combination lo mein for carry out. It tastes very juicy and well cooked. The service was also top tier and the lady working at the front is extremely nice. The vibe is very home-like and comforting. I am extremely satisfied with my order. I am definitely coming back again. This is the best chinese restaurant in the area.

Great food recommend general chow chicken and the beef and broccoli absolutely delicious recently they changed the general chow recipe to white meat and it's made a big difference new owners new recipes and the lady taking orders is the owner . Very friendly and the portions are great for the price. Great job Star East for being a good choice when it comes to eating out in Belmont Craigen

Tried to charge me twice! Went in, ordered, paid , signed the receipt and stepped out for the 10 mins she said it would take. She tried charging me again and said I never paid, I tried to give her a fair chance before I pulled out my copy of the receipt in which she rudely janked it from me and when I asked if I could have my copy back she said " You got your food you can go!" The shisty gesture alone made up my mind about boycotting this place forever, then the anticlimactic, mediocre food was the nail on the coffin. Not cool ??
