Starbucks at 39 S La Salle Street is located in the center of the financial district of Chicago Loop. In the late morning hour, the restaurant was quite busy, with two lines of customers: one was waiting to place the orders at the beginning of the counter, and another was ready to pick up their orders, including the online ones, at the end of this long counter. The restaurant has a rectangular-shaped seating area, quite large and facing both S La Salle and W Monroe Streets. The seating is provided mainly on high chairs at window sills, or at tables placed near the large windows; the interior design is modern: high ceilings, minimalist furniture and decoration. There were also some lounge chairs -- for customers to relax. My order to go was ready fast -- Butter Croissant and Cheese Danish were packed very carefully, the service at the counter was all business, which is understandable. The price for both pastries came to subtotal of $7.60 plus 11.75% tax -- the total of $8.49, that is now quite normal in Starbucks. The restaurant also has an outdoor seating area -- in warm seasons it must be very nice to have some coffee outdoors. In the meantime, the pastries were consumed at home, and they were fresh and tasty, Thank you.
Was craving a Frappuccino and got a good one here.

I came here after the Starbucks at 231 S Lasalle gave me a watery mess of the Christmas Blonde Roast. It was undrinkable, and so watered down. I was working in this building and thought I’d go down and ask if they could give me a blonde roast coffee. I showed my Starbucks app order from the other store, and the coffee I couldn’t drink. The guy employee said sure and gave me a properly brewed coffee, no questions asked. That’s customer service! It wasn’t even their store that messed it up but they helped me. I am very grateful for that.

When I order a drink and I just spent 7$ on a latte. I expect the cup to be full!!!

This store is ripe for a unionization drive. They are overworked because they are right off the L stop and the company refuses to reopen other stores in the area. When the app says your order will be ready in 12 minutes it’s more like 28 minutes. Management doesn’t care. Corporate doesn’t care. In the winter they close off their entrance on the street and make you go thru the office building entrance. It’s just a cluster!

Came to this location because my normal location on Leselle and Monroe was out of spinich and feta wraps. I came here and must say their staff is friendly you can tell they work good as a team and my psl tasted way better than usual and everything was made on time and still hot (I do mobile). Very satisfied with this location it will be my new Starbucks I’ll take the extra walk

When a customer orders a bagel it is usually customary to give them a plastic knife. EVERY time I order one I never get one added to the bag. Waits are unusually long and the staff is 50/50 on the friendly scale

Nice but small room
I ordered a Caramel Ribbon Crunch And this is what I got. Not all all what I should have gotten
This location used to be one of my favorite Starbucks downtown. The problem is inconsistencies in how the drinks are made. Sometimes it's correct but many times it's not. For instance, one day my Pink drink was perfect with just the amount of everything. More than enough it's too sweet with a dark red look to it or the don't use the ingredient at all and just give you coconut milk. PLEASE SAVE THIS LOCATION
My beverage was made right and the employee informed me about a promotion as well great customer service.
