Stopped in at this Starbucks and had a great experience. My latte was made perfectly—smooth, hot, and just the right balance of espresso and milk. The staff were super friendly and worked quickly even though the place was busy. The café is clean, has plenty of seating, and feels cozy for hanging out or getting some work done. One of the better Starbucks locations I’ve been to!
Unfortunately I have to come here more often than I’d like based on there being little-to-no quick bites on Southport. The coffee is standard, food is standard, ALWAYS busy. Today they wouldn’t accept my cash because my bills were “too big” yet i’ve been in line and watched others before pay with similar amounts. If I can help it, based on that, I probably won’t be back (at least way less often). Staff seem moderately friendly but no sense of customer relationships,...
This is one of two Starbucks I go to regularly in my neighborhood. The other one has a container with straws on the pickup counter that people can easily grab from if they want to drink through a straw. This one has the straws hidden so that every single person picking up has to linger around and disrupt the workflow of the busy employees if they want to drink through a straw. It’s awkward every time and I usually see at least one other person experience this. It has to happen...
