Mobile ordered soy iced latte. Label says soy iced latte. Took a sip about a half a block away realizing it’s cow milk. Too late to exchange because I had to get to work. Last week mobile ordered soy iced latte. When I get there it’s still not ready. Mgmt is training new person so he is only one working bar at 8am. 12min later it’s ready I walk out realizing lid is not secure. I try to secure and cannot. I go back and new person secures new lid for me. 14min later I am jogging out the door to get to work. Hit or miss and I keep getting lulled. Going to stick with the Erie/St Claire location. They are used to high volume service.

It’s amazing how a simple “good morning, welcome in” can add to your experience, even if it’s a quick mobile order. The entire team here in the morning was so kind and happy. There are so many locations in the city but I will remember this one and come to this one over others going forward. Hospitality at its best.
Fresh drink and sandwich! Super clean and friendly workers. Delicious!
Normal sb except No outlets at this one
The coffee was prepared disgustingly. Thank you.
I stopped by this Starbucks for a coffee before starting my day and was really impressed. The service was fast and excellent, and the coffee was great! Definitely coming back!

I recently visited Starbucks, and while the atmosphere was cozy and cool, perfect for relaxing or hanging out, I found the food and beverages a bit overrated. The coffee was decent, but not as extraordinary as I expected, and the snacks didn’t live up to the hype either. While it's a great place to unwind, I think the offerings could use a little more variety or a better punch for the price. Still, it’s a nice spot for a casual hangout!

Hours say it closes at 18:00,
but I got here at 17:30 and the door is locked.
Employees are inside, too.
Alas.

I have had multiple bad experiences at this location. From the constantly shifting team, to the manager, Erika who appears more concerned about herself and her own career trajectory than the people working hard to make her look good.
This district has fallen a long way since the pandemic began and it seems priorities of connection are eclipsed by profiteering and corporate control of their workforce. A favorite barista of mine who used to work here last year was forcibly transferred to another store without his explicit request to do so.
The newer baristas here seem like toxically positive, easily manipulatable college kids who are desperate for spending money and therefore willing to tolerate the clearly incompetent management.
I do not come back to this location, and have found many other local shops that value and respect their employees basic humanity.
I do not see this location as being desirable to work at, from a customer perspective.
Coffee should bring joy and energy to the people who supply it to their community, and until that is present at Starbucks through management, I will not be returning to Erika’s Erie and Dearborn.

Starbucks at 30 W Erie St is a modern restaurant on the corner of W Erie and Dearborn Streets, in The Near North Side community area of the city. Generally, I like Starbucks -- not only for coffee and food choices, and introduction of new items on the menu, but also for contemporary interior design, fast service and user-friendly ambiance. Being in the area on that warm summer day, I stopped at this Starbucks, just to have some coffee. On the suggestion of the staff, I ordered Iced Coffee (Tall), with 1.5 pumps of Classic Syrup (Total $4.41, with 11.75% Tax included). Coffee was refreshing, but tasted somewhat bland, though. Service at the counter was quiet and friendly. The restaurant has a very spacious, well-appointed seating area indoors, and modern decor, the seating area is well-lighted, and large windows face both streets, busy with traffic. The restaurant itself wasn't too busy, and I am glad that I stopped there, and got some coffee. Thanks.
