It’s unfortunate that I feel the need to give any negative feedback because I’ve been a beloved Starbucks customer for such a long time. Between Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn-My morning routine on the way to work has been to use the drive thru for a Grande Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. It’s the only drink I purchase and costs me $6.94. And to mention, between myself and husband, we have spent upwards of $100/week at Starbucks for a great deal of time. Not sure what happened along the way but the drink quality and consistency has greatly declined. Every day I feel like it’s a surprise whether I’ll get a drink that tastes how it should or be disappointed with how awful it tastes. Today, my coffee is left sitting in my car unfinished because I couldn’t tolerate the bitterness and lack of ingredients. Whether it’s because of “new employees” or whatever the new reason may be, I’m no longer paying for an unpredictable-overpriced coffee.

This morning they were slammed! The customer Was STILL amazing! The employees didn’t seem overwhelmed, they were professional, courteous, and serve, served everyone with the smiling face. The staff handled the morning rush during the mini snowstorm. Excellent! Tee and Grace were my baristas. Keep up the great work team!

I have been ordering the same drink nearly every day since June. The staff manager is defensive over me bringing my drive thru order back because it wasn't made right. Like what part don't you guys get you signed up to be a professional drink maker. The drink didn't look or taste like a iced Oatmilk Shaken hazel nut expresso. The shift manager was defensive argumentative and quite frankly unprofessional. Where was the apology. I ordered ahead and still had to come in. You're not doing me a favor spending 8.88 a drink a day

Not a good first impression ! I watched someone get a courtesy cup of water, when I went to ask she looked at me like I was crazy and said I have to make a purchase to get a cup of water. Wouldn’t recommend at all unless the prejudice employee leaves!!

Redoing It

She ordered the drink 1 hour ago, they got it wrong, replaced it by adding more sweetener to it, Still tasted bad overall. She had to uber all the way back to ask for a refund. Still waiting on her response. She asked for a sugar cookie latte, they gave her gingerbread with cinnamon, She’s super allergic to cinnamon. I tasted it for her and it was totally gross, the forgot to remake it and just threw it back into another cup and added tons of sweetener… that’s so not right.

Is the camera not working in the drive thru? Because the woman on the speaker kept trying to take an order when my car wasn’t even pulled up yet. Like hello, can you not see I can’t pull up any further since the car in front of me isn’t up far enough? There’s a whole camera by the speaker which should show this as well. Then the drive thru worker who has a lip piercing was extremely rude and condescending. I’ve never had such bad customer service from any other Starbucks, and definitely won’t be coming to this one again.

So I came asking for water. This isn’t my first time doing this and usually I will get it or I have to pay. This time a worker said that I had to make a purchase in order to get water. Again…. I had to make a purchase to get WATERRR..
… let that sink in… Starbucks do better

I normally refrain from leaving bad reviews because I time believe in grace but I’ve experienced horrible customer service from this specific location on several separate occasions.

The customer service here is absolutely horrid. Especially from the manager- her disposition, tone and demeanor is so nasty. She does nothing to try to satisfy the customer. She has an “it is what it is” attitude when speaking to customers about customizations they want to make even when the location can do it. I asked for the protein powder to blended with my oat milk instead of using the pre made dairy protein blend because I can not have dairy. Instead of accommodating the request she hastily gave a “it’s either the dairy protein milk or the protein cold foam” which are both dairy.

I always prefer to come to this location verses the place down the street 👀 solely based on the customer service! This morning in particular though the guy who was working the window was amazing! His energy instantly put me in a better mood and I’m Mobile ordering kind of girl so I don’t like to talk too much in the morning, but he was absolutely amazing!

I waited over 35 minutes for a cup of coffee i. The cafe while they constantly took other orders in drive thru. It was ridiculous and the worse Starbucks experience I’ve ever had. Please shut this location down. You guys aren’t staffed or trained to be open.

This place stay crowded like they giving something away! Well they are great tasting drinks from strawberry acai with inclusions to every type of fancy coffee you can imagine Iced, frothy, Carmel, etc. Truly setting the standard for coffee that's addictive. Sips happens here!
