I agree with the previous reviewer's message that this is probably the worst Starbucks in the area in terms of service. I came here at around 3pm and the staff was indifferent and lazy, it was a horrible experience.

Most expensive Starbucks I have ever seen in Chicago. I get a Venti vanilla latte almost anywhere for $6.98 in the Loop. This place is a grande for $7.77 and they fall back on the excuse that it is not corporate owned. This location is gonna cost you a lot more money to go to.

Orders through the app never go right. Something always happens. I always order extra things and they never add them. I'm paying to get a drink the way I want it.

They were slow....even when they only had 3 customers. Argued with every customer you have....maybe consider just shutting this one down.

If I could give half a star I would. ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE SERVICE! The lady just tossed my bacon egg and gouda sandwich in the bag any kind of way. As I placed my order the gentlemen could not stop looking on his phone as he responded to a text message. I ordered the new small Summer Blueberry lemonade Refresher full of ice barely enjoyed the drink. I had a gift card and decided to use it this morning, NEVER AGAIN! Very incompetent and unprofessional workers at the BLOCK 37 LOCATION!

Avoid this location if you can. Always having issues and sometimes the employees will straight up ignore you for mobile orders. There has been multiple times when I’ve ordered an item and they’re out of it. They also can’t staff the location properly. One time I placed and paid for a mobile order and their location was CLOSED when I got off the train.

I have NEVER had a positive experience at this store. The baristas are so rude, and so incompetent. Seriously who is hiring these dummies. Not only did the fella behind the counter judge my order and make a snarky comment in front of my face, but he gave me the wrong size with the wrong amount of syrup. They have wrapped pastries in their case. This location is tacky and tasteless. Skip the visit. It’s not worth the TEN DOLLARS for a 12oz drink.

I am not sure if it’s because I’m Black or a woman, but I waited over 20 minutes for a drink. After waiting for 10 minutes, I inquired about my order, but they acted confused as if I didn’t order anything. Then it took them an additional 10 minutes to make it. Lastly, I ordered a lavender still latte and it tasted like spoiled milk. I am sick of being mistreated in establishments where I spend my money. I will not be back.

Today, I was under a lot of pressure and stress. I had the honor and responsibility of ensuring coffee was available for a very important politician at a staff meeting. I ordered two traveler coffees ahead of time online. When I arrived at Starbucks, I met a young man named William, who was working alone. He was incredibly professional and hardworking. Despite the traffic coming into the store, he made sure I got my coffee on time for an 8 a.m. meeting.
William handled everything like a superhero. He made sure I had everything I needed and even checked if I could manage the bags. He was smart, kind, and gracious. I want to commend him for his dedication and professionalism. Thank you, William, for all your help this morning, and most of all, for being on time for work, especially considering the rest of the staff wasn't there to assist you. Had it not been for you, my morning could have been a disaster. This young man deserves a raise.

This may be the worst Starbucks! Very incompetent folks working here and a lot of restrictions. Always mess up orders. If you decide to order here, check your order before you leave. They are that bad here!
