The ladies working here are the salt of the Earth. Too much fragile masculinity being reflected in the comments. Be kind and they’ll look after you

Attempted to get in line at 4:25 with only a few people in line. We were told they were closed and to get out of line. We asked what time they closed and they said they leave at 5. They needed time to cleanup. Staff was very rude telling people to not even think about getting in their line. Do better Chicago.

Starbucks, McCormick Center: Where Dreams of Coffee Go to Die
Ah, Starbucks at McCormick Center. A beacon of hope in a desert of convention center blandness, or so you'd think. Step inside, and you'll be greeted by the aroma of burnt coffee and simmering resentment.
The baristas here have perfected the art of the "I'd-rather-be-anywhere-else" glare. Ordering a simple cappuccino feels like imposing on their very existence. You half expect them to sigh dramatically and add "extra annoyance" to your bill.
And the coffee? Oh, the coffee. It's the usual Starbucks fare – sugary concoctions that vaguely resemble coffee, but mostly taste like melted candy canes and regret. If you're brave enough to order a "skinny latte," prepare for a withering look that could curdle milk.
But hey, at least you can enjoy your overpriced, underwhelming beverage in a bustling atmosphere! Throngs of conference attendees jostle for position, desperately seeking their caffeine fix. The ambient noise is a delightful symphony of stressed-out sighs, frantic phone calls, and the occasional muffled sob.
So, if you're in the mood for a side of existential despair with your lukewarm latte, Starbucks at McCormick Center is the place to be. Just don't forget to apologize for interrupting the barista's daydream.

Not worthy of being called Starbucks. This place definitely does not give the Starbucks standard of service or experience. Extremely rude and unpleasant staff. Blatantly disrespectful.

This woman who was NOT in uniform was stand-in outside the line and yapping with her friend in security and just abruptly and rudely goes "we're closed!" and at 1:57pm on a Saturday with multiple events still going on and several people in line still. I do not advise going to this location.

Can’t score the rest because the staff arbitrarily closed at 2:53pm with people in line.

Highly disrespectful Employees. If I could give you zero stars, I would. Corporate should really come and take a look at this place.

Restaurantji Recommends
in the last 5 months i come two times i was disappointed both times same problem, restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner. House keeping, reservation staff really bad, taxi service non existing. i left the same review in February 21-27 today i am leaving again the same review for the May 1-6.
The hôtel is correct, but we could expect more for the price. Especially for the breakfast that is not include and expensive, and the 3, 5$ water bottle in the room that is free only if you are a member… not kiding…
I love everything about this hotel: its fluffy pillows, great bed, great room, proximity to the convention centers even if it entails a lot of walking, prompt reply to my questions by its staff, etc. The only thing that bugs me is that this hotel thought great, seems to be missing something...I cannot find a machine that dispenses prepaid debit cards here...I know this hotel is a cashless establishment and I cannot find machine that dispenses prepaid debit cards...is there a possibility that in the future, Hyatt hotels will be accepting cash payments alongside credit and debit card payments?
I had room XX62, which was right next to the elevators. All night long, particularly around 9:30 until about 11:30, they were very busy and loud in the room. It made a slight knocking sound when locking into floors and made the door sound like soft knocks.
Amazing place, everyone at the facility was helpful and friendly. From the bellmen to the front desk, everyone was friendly and helpful. Also no need to walk a far distance for dinner. The bar burger was amazing and the staff friendly and helpful.
