Today, I visited Starbucks because I live close to the neighborhood. Several years ago, I reviewed Starbucks and noted that they had free internet and a welcoming ambiance. Although I have internet at home, I prefer to be outdoors in the fresh air so that I can relax and enjoy the scenery.
However, starting January 1, 2025, customers are no longer allowed to enter the establishment or sit on the patio unless they purchase a drink or something from Starbucks. They have the right to enforce this policy, and their laws and regulations have changed. Starbucks is no longer the typical place to come to use the internet. Perhaps it’s only the black neighborhood. I’m not sure.

I had an overall positive experience at this Starbucks. They move fast and my drink was made way better than the how it’s made at the Starbucks in Hyde Park. I’m happy to see so many Black women employed, however they were a bit loud in their conversations that weren’t regarding work and I wish that they were wearing something over their heads, as to protect their hair from getting in the drinks. As one of the workers was wiping the tables down, I mentioned this concern to her and she told me that women making the drinks either had some type of protective headband or net on. Keep up the good work ladies!
When I order extra carmel or request for my cup to lined with caramel on Uber Eats, I pay extra, and never get it. These ladies made sure that I had my extra caramel. Thank you ladies for getting my order right!

You pull through the drive thru and they have a nasty attitude when they speak to you. I said I have a pick up order and the barista yelled at me saying I need to leave the drive through and come back around because they need more time to make my drink. Which I didn’t understand because I already waited in line and placed my order through the app. Terrible service

Never have I been played for such a fool in my life. First off they are selling Iced coffee as Cold Brew. I order the same drink EVERYDAY at the South Holland location I have issues with the price it’s a different price EVERYDAY. I was in the city and stopped by Stoney Island same drink Venti Cold brew SF Vanilla heavy whipping cream caramel drizzle- look up the drink- I buy it everyday. Today I have a 3rd person with me and buying them the drink total $20.82 for 3 cups of milk. I tried to not go back n just keep the drink but it just wasn’t right. After over explaining this to the manager she gives me a cup of what’s supposed to be cold brew to fix the 3 drinks she’d originally told me she can only re-fix 1 of them. I’m like huh??? All 3 are the same drink- so I take the coffee from her and pour some in each. The whole problem is- I ordered COLD BREW- and what was given to me wrongly was Iced coffee. Look I get it… maybe you ran out- but don’t play me crazy when I order the same drink EVERYDAY. Do an audit on the drink you will find I purchase 2 daily from the South Holland location. With not that many locations in my area my options are limited so when i finally can get my favorite drink PLEASE MAKE SURE ITS RIGHT! I spend $14 a day on this- today’s total on my card was $20.82 such a waste of my gas time energy and had ruined my coffee experience

The Starbucks on 71st and Stony Island oh my God, I love the people that work there. I love they service and their energy the manager Tea And the sales associate Bebe I just love to see they smile every day. I stop at Starbucks every day. On my way to work. Stop in there. On my way to work. Makes my day thank you guys for being so friendly and kind. I want pick no other Starbucks over y’all
