Love Kris and prea and it’s one other young lady that are my favs but this staff is unmatched idc what anyone said I know when Kris is there my order will be on time I won’t be waiting long mostly bcz of the time I come to the store it’s early morning but this crew is awesome I feel right at home

I came to this Starbucks the Friday before Labor Day arpund 9am and it was extremely busy. I was still greeted when I entered and all other guests that entered. They had about 6 or 7 staff members so it was fully staffed but there was no way to get out of there in less than 20 min. I was there for 30.
One guest tried to get upset about the names being wrong on her drinks. We all looked at her and she literally moved to a corner and kept quiet. After the words, the staff started singing and we joined in. The manager came around and personally apologized for the wait. I was impressed by how everything was handled.
The staff maintained their cool despite disparaging comments, no one had a wrong order, manager acknowledged what was happening and 98% of everyone inside patiently waited, sang or started conversations with other patrons.
This was better service than the one I go to downtown thats always this crowded. I've walked out of that one many days because it does lack the vibe and friendliness. I have worked in service for many years and atmosphere makes all the difference.

I’ve been coming here for about 6months now and The staff is amazing their customer service is top tier, MJ is the most welcoming his energy always makes when smile when I arrive. He’s the guy that gives the Wow factor to help out his staff. Give that man a raise he deserves it!

8-4-2025 I came into Starbucks. And this is the first one that has workers that don’t greet you when you come in! I normally visit many different Starbucks and I’m so impressed with the customer service relationship. But this Starbucks has failed to follow the blueprint that many other Starbucks mastered. Nobody is at the register. Nobody is paying attention to customers walking in. I saw 5 customers walk out for nobody taking orders. 1 customer waited for 2-3 minutes then the barista approached the counter without speaking and said hold for me I’ll be right with you. The customer said you didn’t even greet me when I walked in. And I already been waiting. Rudely all the others had disrespectful things to say!… to make matters worse I was simply stopping by to finish a paper, and notice the terrible customer service, and shitty attitude, so I took pictures and videos… but got back to my paper… before I could finish my paper the same lady who wasn’t at the register when customers walked in was the same barista who approached me and told me I had to leave for not making a purchase! WOW. You just had 6 customers walk out because you wasn’t at the register. Now you’re kicking the local mail man out!! PLEASE DONT GO HERE! These ppl don’t respect the customers! And they careless to make your Starbucks experience a great to remember!

Just moved down to this neighborhood and went in for the first time yesterday.
Wonderful team at this store! Everyone is friendly, the service is fast, and orders are spot on!
The store was incredibly clean and the outdoor seating was nice.
Management needs to make sure this team is treated right!

Today, I visited Starbucks because I live close to the neighborhood. Several years ago, I reviewed Starbucks and noted that they had free internet and a welcoming ambiance. Although I have internet at home, I prefer to be outdoors in the fresh air so that I can relax and enjoy the scenery.
However, starting January 1, 2025, customers are no longer allowed to enter the establishment or sit on the patio unless they purchase a drink or something from Starbucks. They have the right to enforce this policy, and their laws and regulations have changed. Starbucks is no longer the typical place to come to use the internet. Perhaps it’s only the black neighborhood. I’m not sure.

Great location - very well run
I had an overall positive experience at this Starbucks. They move fast and my drink was made way better than the how it’s made at the Starbucks in Hyde Park. I’m happy to see so many Black women employed, however they were a bit loud in their conversations that weren’t regarding work and I wish that they were wearing something over their heads, as to protect their hair from getting in the drinks. As one of the workers was wiping the tables down, I mentioned this concern to her and she told me that women making the drinks either had some type of protective headband or net on. Keep up the good work ladies!
When I order extra carmel or request for my cup to lined with caramel on Uber Eats, I pay extra, and never get it. These ladies made sure that I had my extra caramel. Thank you ladies for getting my order right!
