Whoever was the barista yesterday, I pray for you. Ordered a LARGE Iced Brown sugar shaken espresso via the mobile app for pick up, left a 10% tip, which btw I’m not obliged to do but did it as a courtesy. I arrive to pick up my large coffee and immediately noticed it was about 75% full. The barista also wrote “wow” on the cup and the coffee tasted burnt, watered down and could tell it was poorly made probably due to the fact that they got upset with the tip. Just simply unprofessional and unbelievable . Grabbed the coffee and just walked out why even bother.

I understand the rule is you have to buy something in order to use the bathroom. But I literally was about to piss myself and I told the barista I was going to buy something after I just really needed to use the bathroom. She insisted that I needed to buy something first. I told her it was an emergency. She denied me the code every time I asked and reassured her I was planning on buying a coffee. She still denied me the bathroom. So I took my business elsewhere. Can't have the decency to let me use the bathroom and then buy something. So messed up.

It was a fine Sunday afternoon, skies were grey, clouds covered the sun. But didn’t cover the joy and excitement of our barista. She was the sun for today. Jacque was incredibly nice and helpful to us. She had recommendations for our drinks to make them better, advised us if the drink we were getting was going to be sweet or strong. Truly someone who enjoys her job and wants to make others day and I applaud her for that. Working in customer service is not for the weak. But someone like Jacque thrives in customer service and loves to elevate the experience for customers. Even wrote a funny note on me and my girlfriend’s drink lol. God bless her heart.
