The music is always so uncomfortably loud here. I try to sit and read for a while, but the music just pounds at my ears. And there's nowhere to escape because there's a speaker in every freaking crevice of the place. You just can't relax here with the music that loud.

Most of the baristas are nice and the place is clean. The poor review goes out to the blond woman barista - possible manager. I used to go there with my dog all the time and no one said the dog was not invited. I saw multiple people go in there with their dog just fine. One day, I went in there with my dog per usual, and this blond lady whispers to the black barista while staring at me and pointing. The black barista then turns to me (a black woman) with an apologetic face that dogs are not allowed in the place so I can’t bring my dog in there anymore.
This was perfectly fine with me, I understand not every place allow dogs. But lo and behold, every day since, I’ve seen different people take their dogs inside and not be turned away. The only difference between them and I is that I’m black. Maybe all the other dogs in the area are service dogs. The probability is quite low, so it leaves me to draw only one conclusion.
I just want the same rules applied to everyone, no matter the skin color.

The guy working around 12:30pm on January 17th, 2023 helped me search for a spare charging block even though he absolutely could've said no and I would've respected that because they're constantly busy here. Everyone's super sweet and I hope they get paid what they're due!!
