Hotter than hell. Summer or polar vortex. Never in my life expected to be sweating when it’s -20 outside. Absolutely sweating. Wish the employees had the ability to change the thermostat because it’s horrible enough to make me not return. Doesn’t help when your latte is watery.

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks since 2018 and I’ve always had a great experience with most staff except for one. It is this man maybe in his 30’s-40’s. He always makes my drinks wrong, he is rude when I have asked him remake it and when he does remake it, he does it with the most minimum amount of effort. I have worked at Starbucks before and I understand that mistakes can happen, but this behavior is unacceptable. His service has gotten so bad that I refuse to order when I see he is making beverages. I used to not make a big deal about when it was the first couple of times, but not it’s every time and I live a couple of blocks down from this Starbucks and it makes me sad that I have to cautious when I want to order my drink because of a certain employee.

So, I am starting a new job. The hardest part of this transition is that I won’t be able to see my favorite Starbucks girlie pops Ryin and Noah anymore. *insert my meltdown here*

Life is so hard. The world is so chaotic. People are so crazy and cruel.

And yet somehow every morning Noah & Ryin (even while swamped) never failed to great me with the warmest and biggest smile.

Ask me about my morning, weekend or day!!

Seriously, I’ve never felt more seen and appreciate by an establishment EVER!!

I don’t think they’ll ever understand how their small gestures of just being sincerely kind made many of my mundane/tough mornings so much better.

They are truly an asset to your organization.

You can teach people to make tasty drinks, but you can’t teach people to be a great human being with infectious positivity.

That’s worth a million and definitely worth giving them a raise because they surely raised my spirits every single visit.

I am going to miss them so much. *wall slide* 😩😩

waited 30mins and my venti drink was all ice / i finished it within 2 mins and the ice reaches the top of the cup but ok im happy i paid $7 for ice and some milk

Came here to grab some drinks while waiting for the physical therapy appointment at Lurie. Spacious, clean, well organized store. Employees appear friendly. I told my daughter we came to a well-known coffee shop but non of our drinks is coffee. Lol They offered everything on the special menu which is a plus. Many stores, don’t offer a full menu. :)

The most unfriendly, unwelcoming, distracted staff of any coffee shop in the neighborhood and that’s saying something. I always order the same thing and it’s never the same when prepared. Sometimes strong, sometimes weak, delivered with snark every time. I always am extra friendly thinking this time they will show a tiny ounce of respect but no, they act like they can’t be out upon. I’d rather drink bad coffee across the street than be subjected to any more attitude.

It’s not every worker at this location, but several are very rude all the time. I think it has something to do with their workplace culture but they will give you a very hard time for something as simple as a pup cup. No other Starbucks does this, and I’ve been to probably 100.

They open early so are a go to for early morning coffee pickup on way to work. The baristas are quick and have your order ready if ordering online. Very standard Starbucks location but very convenient.
