Food is fresh and authentic and delicious. Love the beet and arugula salad. Food portions are huge. You could order a few dishes and share. Dessert is fresh and delicious. Will visit again. Decor of restaurant is very rustic and quaint. Second room for banquets. Outdoor seating for warmer weather.

Adore this. Some of the best polish food anywhere. outstanding. great old brick vibe
The soup was good. I’m a huge fan of Pierogies and, unfortunately, these were not impressive at all. Mostly because they were really bland. The service was good, but wouldn’t go for pierogies again

Haven't been here in 15-20 years. Food is excellent now and the interior redesign is very fancy

I loved the food here. We got a sharing platter for two and a couple of other items to try. The potato pancakes, Hungarian stew, potato dumplings, pierogi, polish sausage, schnitzel were all delicious. The service was a little slow but overall a great experience.

The food is very fresh, good, and authentic. My husband and I enjoyed our food. I had the pierogies, my husband has the potato pancake with beef goulash. We both loved the food.
Loved the Sour Rye Soup. Would recommend to anyone

It’s been about 10 years since we were last in Chicago, which means about 10 years since we last visited Starapolska. And it’s still going long and strong, with excellent dinner and beer options, great service, and great atmosphere. We tried a little of everything (they offer family-style sampler plates) and are big fans of the stuffed cabbage. Note: folks staying downtown can get there by train (Belmont) and about a 15 minute hike to through a great little neighborhood. Highly recommended!
Fantastic can’t even begin to describe the food and experience. They make you feel like family and the food is made with the same family love. Highly recommended!
