You need a veggie bagel sandwich option with no eggs.

The bagels bageled.
Don’t order delivery from this place. Normally awesome bagels if eaten in store. But when we get delivery first thing in the morning, they send day old bagels. This is based on me having eaten their bagels every week for the last year. Just really disappointing to spend that much money and get a stale bagel on a Saturday morning. I have noticed that if you order later in the AM, they send fresh ones but we only order so we can sleep in and have bagels at 7:30 when our kids wake up. Too bad.
Rachel on challah is amazing. Only con is it's a little pricey

Disappointed, especially for the price.
I paid $18 for “The Fresh”, and it was honestly the biggest letdown of my trip to Chicago. The bagel was burnt, the portion of lox was paper-thin (practically translucent/ non-existent), and the salad mix on top was so wet that it dripped down my arm while I ate. For that price, I expected something a lot more balanced and satisfying. I’ve had much better at airport Einstein Bros. Bagels for a third of the cost… and with at least double (if not triple) the lox. Unfortunately, I left disappointed and still thinking about how underwhelming it was. 🙃 Pick anywhere else and you’ll be happier. 🫶

I bought three different sandwiches and all of them were entirely mediocre at best. I only went to this location because the original Southport is closed on Tuesdays. They were honestly horrible, ruined my morning, and I still spent an arm and a leg on them — mushy, the sausage was cheap. Will only ever go to Southport location, they actually cook real eggs there.

Bagels taste like day-old or previously frozen, certainly not fresh. Not worth what you’re paying.

Great lox bagels! Did not realize the garden cream cheese was $2 extra... lowkey not worth but still yummy delicious. Highly recommend the potato salad as a side.
Got the Jacob bagel sandwich, delicious. Brussels sprouts on the side were 🔥

Twice now I have placed an order at this steingolds and they have given me the wrong thing. Today’s crime was that I ordered a pastrami egg and cheese and received a lox bagel. Those aren’t even close. The prices are too high for them to be messing orders up like that.

Just as good as their main location on Southport, and a good deal more convenient since it’s right next to the Addison red line station. Convenient, quality food, good coffee, and at a plus they’ve got free seltzer on tap! This is my go to breakfast spot in the neighborhood

Placed a large breakfast order for my office. They had everything ready and waiting for me, everything was correct and delicious. They have gluten free options which is so helpful. Made my life so much easier and checked this big to-do off my list. Thank you to the staff here!
