Stetsons Modern Steak + Sushi

For the price of the food, I was not impressed. The sushi was exceptional along with the prime rib. The side dishes were not only under seasoned they were burnt. The broccolini was supposed to be charred but it was so burnt the smell made the rest of my meal unenjoyable.

The jumbo crab cake was delicious. We also had the grilled corn. Fantastic this was a very good meal in a nice restaurant

Terrific experience. They went out of their way to provide us an area in the restaurant for a business meeting. The service was excellent, as was the food. Highly recommend the miso black cod dish - amazing.

great service. steaks expensive but the prime rib was fantastic and a great relative price.

The host was not interested and clearly not happy. The food is typical steak house, nothing to vrag about. The waiter, Chris was polite and very pleasant.

Wonderful food and service. Ribeye had the best flavor, but the new York and prime rib were also tasty.

The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The filet mignon and homemade sauces were incredible.

Our group of nine came here at 8pm after hour meeting. We had a round of drinks and a good meal from sushi (excellent) to steak (nicely done). Service was excellent ambience was very good, sitting towards the back near the fire and cook station. Overall, well worth the $$$.

We hated our experience here. The acoustics made it so that the voices of the group next to us filthy entire space so that we could not hear each other at all. It was a cacophony. The steak was only fine. The sushi was disappointing. Nothing special about it and not even presented beautifully. Additionally, I despise asparagus. Despise. There were two pieces of asparagus in our order of broccolini It just was a very disappointing dinner 

My son and I enjoyed a nice early Mother's Day dinner at Stetson's Modern Steak & Sushi while we were staying at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago. Cocktails (Whiskey Sour and Black Widow) were surprisingly good, Calamari appetizer was on point, and our Sushi rolls were delicious. Best part of our meal was the complimentary Pumpkin Cobbler with Cinnamon-Ginger Vanilla Ice Cream — Wow!

Wouldn't recommend for steak. Sushi is great though. Service attentive, but average as order was messed up despite needing to be continuously repeated.

They take too long to take a steak order. The nigiri sushi appetizers were good and on time, but we had to wait 50 minutes for the main course.

The restaurant boasts a great ambience and an impressive menu selection, but unfortunately, the service and food fell short of expectations. It took an unreasonably long time for the waiter to acknowledge me, setting the tone for the evening. I started with the grilled octopus, which was disappointingly cold—something that should be served hot straight off the grill. For my main course, I ordered the sea bass, which was advertised as being accompanied by butternut squash. When I inquired about it, the waiter insisted the dish did not come with squash. After pressing the issue, he checked with the kitchen and returned to apologize, stating that the meal has never actually included squash—despite it being listed on the menu. To their credit, they did prepare some squash for me, but this kind of inconsistency should not happen, especially at the price point of their dishes. Overall, while the atmosphere and menu offerings are appealing, the restaurant needs to ensure its service and food quality align with the expectations it sets.

Absolutely first rate sushi, and I eat it in New York City and DC fairly often. I don't know how they got it this fresh, but they did. And at a steakhouse no less! A pricey place, but very comfortable setting and atmosphere, and excellent service without being at all stuffy. Next time I'm in that neighborhood, I will eat there for sure. Highly recommended.
