Update: As seen below, winds were in-fact not over 50+ only slightly above 40 at around 5pm, just strong enough to make the dine-in experience not safe and management refuse to act upon a reasonable request.
During a 70 degrees day with 50+mph winds on March 14th 2025, owner Marco refused to close or even lower the garage door in the front of the dining room to provide a calm and comfortable dinning experience for their dine-in customers. Instead, he acknowledged IF the garage door is close or lowered the kitchen would be too hot for their staff and himself because he didn’t want to turn on the AC for his staff. He’s even mentioned the bar across the streets has outdoor seating for their customers and they are fine. I guess he didn’t realize my family didn’t want to have an outdoor typhoon dining experience when we opted to seat at an indoor dine-in pizza restaurant.
This selfish and unprofessional behavior lead to napkins flying, Wall art moving and table place card and plates flying, leaves and dust from the park across being side dishes for our pizzas. Service staff were attentive but wasn’t allow to provide services that meets the customers need all because of poor management and unprofessional behavior of the owner.
Love this place in my neighborhood! My fav dish is the Chicken Alfredo 😍 wood fired pizzas are top tier. Def a must if you're in the area!

This cozy spot is awesome. We had the wood fire pizza, and it didn't disappoint. I noticed that they serve alcohol but i was at work. I will come back and give an update on drinks, but the pizza has me coming back!

Visiting the southside and got food to go two nights in a row. Sausage pizza with homemade sausage was awesome. Pasta with sausage next night ( meatballs had sold out) was good and also got the Chicken Caesar which was amazing (loaded with everything including toasted garlic crackers and lots of Parmesan shard which was shared with the pasta eater who got none of that on the side). Really appreciated the recommended IPA Tropical Tiger by Marz Community Brewing, Chicago local. Delicious. Highly recommend Stix n Brix .
