I was thinking I was going to have a great experience but that wasn't the case at all. I got the tomahawk steak and it was cold. I got the mashed potatoes they was really good but the Mac and cheese was not good at all. Me and my lady was sitting there waiting for our drinks that we ordered and it never came out but was on the bill. The manager had to get the waitress to make sure we didn't get it and removed them for our bill but for the experience was not good at all. The table we were at was very small as well 10/18/2025
Food is overpriced, music was so loud you can't hear your conversation, our waitress was not the best we waited 25 mins just for to go boxes and we also did not receive any bread
Reservation was set for 8pm didn't get seated till 8:35pm preferred drinks and those didn't come out for another 20mins or so. All the food came out together. Had 2 apps a main course which means apps should come out before. Never got checked on by the host. The sodas were flat complained about that and she brought 2 more and still same result. One of my sides never came out and the server said it was on the way. Service was horrible. Mind you I come here very often and love STK but this time was very disappointing!! The manger did discount the bill. However it's beyond unacceptable when this is fine dining.
I had a reservation but still waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Once we sat down, the table was wobbly, so I placed a menu under it. When the server came by, about 10–15 minutes later, I mentioned it, and they said they'd bring a wedge, but it never arrived. Our drinks took another 20–30 minutes to come out. The food itself tasted good, though definitely overpriced for the overall experience. The server was kind and seemed to be doing their best, but overall it was a disappointing visit.
Took over an hour to be seated . Our server was great but meal also took way longer than it should.. took an hour for steaks to arrive
We were sat 35 minutes past our reservation. Start to finish, we were at the restaurant for three hours. Service was incredibly slow. It took forever to get our drinks and when we did get them, they were not good. Overall service was slow from appetizers to our main meal to getting the check. Will not be back.
Major booking system issues , waited over 1 hour for table , was then seated in an overflow room , after discussion with the manager was reseated to cramped table in main dining , meals took almost 90 minutes to arrive after ordering . Service overwhelmed and not engaging . Steak fortunately were great however a 4 hour experience was not acceptable .
Terrible communication. They brought out the sides and told us we could get another entree instead of the one we ordered because the chef didn't approve instead of telling us right away. This left the sides cold. I went home and cooked instead.
This is normally my favorite place but the food was not as great, they ran out of bread and my server rarely came to service us.
Overly packed! Was excited to take my husband there for his birthday but was really disappointed not what we expected. Def won't be going back

Steaks came out cold and bland. Sides came out 10 mins after, so we didn't even get all of our food at once. Our server was awesome, but thats about it. We had reservations at 7:45 and still waited an hour.
Me and my party of six came to the steakhouse for a 7:45 birthday celebration. We waited almost an hour to be seated, then turn around and had to ask multiple times for bread. The server acted like she did not want to acknowledge us or check in with us. She also was very rude. I believe her name was Asjah. Not once did she acknowledge the birthday girl I had to ask her several times to refill our water to bring extra napkins to bring seasonings and etc.. Once we paid our bill another waiter walk up and told us that our time was up and that we paid and we needed to leave immediately because they had another reservation that needed to be seated. Overall, the service was poor, and I was highly disappointed with how me and my five other guests were treated.
Food was amazing 10/10. We were late for reservation but communication was key. They held the table and we were able to on enjoy one the best experiences in Chicago on our last night.
First impressions. Chairs are tattered and worn. Huge stain on the bench seating. Food came out piece meal and everyone in our party of nine said it was subpar. My daughter and I ordered the prime rib off the ala cart menu. We were served NY Strip. When I pointed this out to the waitstaff I was told it was their prime rib. As if I fell off a turnip truck. I know the difference. When I again pointed this out I was told they would ask the kitchen staff. When he returned he told the chef confirmed it was prime rib. I asked and spoke to the manager who then confirmed it was strip steak and they do not have prime rib. Then why is it on the menu and if out just tell us that. You don't bring out a strip steak and insist it is prime rib as if your customer is an idiot. Squabble eggs were inedible, another guest ordered steak and eggs with a fried egg as listed on the menu. It came with squambled eggs and when she told the waitstaff they said it only comes with squambled eggs. When we pointed out the menu clearly states fry egg we got a shrug of the shoulders. $750 before tip. They did comp two steaks, desert and sent out a free steak. Will not ever be back.
Server charged gratuity without notice or information said we couldnt order a burger when the next table had them and was kinda rude
