Strapoli Pizzeria and All Day Cafe

I honestly hate to give reviews because I'm in the industry, yet a manager wasn't around so I had to speak. I have eaten here 8 times since they opened. I have no idea what I paid for tonight but I felt I was served toppings on a puffed Naan bread with so limited space for actual pizza I couldn't believe what was presented to me. Probably 3 - 3 1/2 inches of soft crust/ bread with 1 1/2 to 2 inches of actual toppings. Strapoili, you killed it in the beginning ( when you should make the mistakes) but tonight had me shaking my head. I picked up a piece and the toppings fell off the pizza as I asked for a crispy / well done knowing this request for this style of pizza is hard to do. You have the audience. Pay closer to the attention side of this. It's so floppy and I HATE to use the word because of Portnoy but it's true. I picked it up and my slice fell straight to my wrist.

Absolutely AMAZING pizza. The dough is just perfect. The salads are outstanding and their take on sandwiches is completely out of the ordinary. The owners and people who work there are so nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. 5 stars!!!!

I’ve lived in Italy part of my life and this is the closest to an Italian restaurant there is in Chicago! You can tell they use quality ingredients and everything is made in a wood fired oven. Must try!

I’m born and raised in Ischia (island off the coast of Napoli, in Italy). I now live in the US, visited Chicago recently, as I was shooting a YouTube vlog about pizza in big American cities. THIS PLACE IS IT. Wonderful warm, welcoming and kind Venezuelan family, making one of the best NAPOLI-style pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. You will not find many places in the US that make this level of Napoli-style pizza. Top quality imported ingredients, great final product, kind owners, affordable prices (compared to how terribly the Italian brand is usually over-priced in the US). Must try!!

The pizza and garlic bread were delicious, it is authentic Italian pizza. The salads looked good too. Worth trying. The only negative is the wait time.

I went to pick an Uber Eats order at this location and was refused the order because i showed up with my ebike. I just recently lost my job and I have to rely on delivery apps to make ends meet and the employee made me feel unwelcome.

I love Chicago pizza but my favorite is the original neopolitan and this is the spot. Fresh, perfect crust, the sauce is 😍 and it came out so fast. I ate the entire pizza which is unusual for me. You can build your own pizza or sandwich or they have a selection to choose from. Will definitely be back.

Best Neapolitan pizza. There are other pizzas in Chicago that are excellent, but this is special. The pizzas are light and wonderful. Some creative pizza combination and the salads are create too. It's BYOB so bring your favorite wine or beer.

10/10 - captures the true flavors of Italy! This is one of the best pizzas in Chicago, bar none. The dough is unreal and the flavors are accurate. Don’t sleep on the garlic bread either - it’s unlike any you’ve tasted.
