Strapoli Pizzeria and All Day Cafe

Pizza was completely undercooked on both pies. We ordered two “make your own” and both pies came completely undercooked. The mushrooms were not cooked and the mozzarella appeared to be very poor that didn’t melt. The bread was overpowering with garlic, the pizza lacked flavored and the prosciutto looked off. Food came at 6:50pm, noticed it was raw, attempted to “cook it” for about 30 minutes, and finally ate at 7:20. It’s 8:18pm and my stomach hurts. I very rarely leave reviews but this was so incredibly disappointing especially after the very positive reviews.

This is easily the best neopolitan pizza I’ve had in chicago! Haven’t had anything better honestly. We got the pistachio pesto pizza and soppresata - both were super good. It was about a 30 min wait at lunch time so just make sure you have time to hang out or order ahead. One pizza could feed two if you aren’t crazy hungry, although my husband and I finished one each!

The cheese blend, featuring fresh mozzarella, creates those coveted stretchy strands with each bite. Toppings are generously portioned but never overwhelm the fundamental elements of the pizza.

The family-run establishment maintains a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like you're part of a long-standing Chicago tradition. Whether you're ordering a classic Margherita or one of their creative specialty pies, each pizza reflects their dedication to quality.

We waited for a long time for the food. I would rate margarita pizza a 4 stars and the white bacon pizza a 3 start. I was so happy to have found an Italian pizza place but the taste wasn’t working for me. I come from Europe so a good tasting dough is what I was craving for. Since size of the pizza is smaller it’s considered 1pizza per person for a dinner.

I really love this place. I started getting their pizza at the farmer's market and now that they have a location I go several times a month. Super nice people and the food is to die for.

Worse than the worst pizza in Europe. These pizzas taste like their ingredients have been frozen (with a freezer smell). Stop putting mushrooms on pistachio pizza, instead add mortadella.

I had the margherita pizza and it was absolutely scrumptious. There was so much flavor in every bite. The cheese tasted heavenly. I only request that they add more items like an appetizer like a burrata salad or something. Absolute gem of a place, clean and modern.
