so so so disappointed to say the least!!!! when we arrived there we were told no kids were allowed bc of a private event. this was never posted on any of their social media. such a let down to say the least!!!

Such a let down today. We drove an hour to Elf’d Up for brunch with our kids. We were turned away on Saturday, November 30 at 10:30 am. The security guard (super nice guy) at the door informed us there is a private party and kids are not allowed. I asked what time we could come back and his response was tomorrow. Nothing was posted on their website or Facebook page about the event to inform customers. We watched family after family get turned away. Most of us ended up next door at Santa Baby, which I highly recommend plus they take reservations. I also recommend calling ahead if you decide to go to Elf’d up since they do not care about informing their customers about private events where kids are not welcome on a Saturday for the entire day!

About an hour adapter the kitchen closed I asked the staff if I could bring Chick-fil-A into the restaurant during a ufc event. The staff told me it was ok, upon coming back the security acted like a dick even after the staff came out to tell him said I couldn't enter.

So disappointed. Have wanted to come the last 3 years. Finally make it today and get there at 1:30. Online shows they open at 11 on Fridays- doors locked. At 2pm, they post they will open at 4pm. We waited 2 hours and go at 4pm. Everyone there was rude and it seemed like we were unconvincing them by being there. We had a drink and left. Go next door to Santa Baby, they appreciate the business.

Please bring back the Ferris pop up! My husband and I were there on August 20th after the Cubs game. I returned with my sister on September 9 only to be disappointed that it was gone. Ferris was filmed at our high school and John Hughes the producer graduated with my sister. Thank goodness I took many photos when I went the first time. Bring it back!!

Came because of the pop up. We went during the game so the place was dead. Our bartender was super cute and really nice, very accomodating. Glad we got to see the pop up. It was supposed to close end of July but they kept it up for longer so I was grateful to catch it while in town.
