Outstanding customer service. I ordered via door dash and the wrong order came, they immediately made me a fresh order and drove it to me personally and added edamame free of charge. Also food is delish!

Got the premium tonkatsu and it was pretty good! The beef was definitely a highlight. Interesting choice to put clams in it though LOL still delicious.

Stopped by unaware that the restaurant had just opened for business and had not done its grand opening yet. They were doing only carry out orders. My coworker and myself had no place to sit down and eat, the management onsite accommodated us greatly and let us sit and eat even though they were not doing dine in yet. They went above and beyond with service and the food was amazing. We’ve been to the other location and quality of the ramen was top notch as expected. Will definitely return after the grand opening to support this business!

This place is close, don't waste your time to stop by, been driving for 30 min for this.

This place isn’t even open for dine in. Not sure why that isn’t stated?

Craving something warm and satisfying? This ramen spot delivers. The broth is rich and flavorful, noodles perfectly chewy, and toppings fresh and generous. It’s great for a quick meal with cozy vibes and fast service.

I tried the gyoza here as a takeout snack, just to sample it, but unfortunately it didn’t hit the mark. It came pre-drenched in soy sauce, which left the wrapper soggy and eliminated any chance of crispiness. That said, the ramen menu looks a lot more promising—especially the spicy options. I’m tempted to come back and try the Level 4 ramen before deciding whether I’m brave enough to tackle their Level 5 challenge. If you can finish it in 20 minutes, you get the meal free, plus a $50 gift card and a t-shirt. Definitely a fun gimmick that adds some personality to the place.

The tonkatsu ramen was phenomenal. The broth perfectly complimented the noodles and toppings. The waiters Ashley, Bota, and Yvonnie were amazing. They were super helpful and made this an unforgettable experience. Will definitely return again!

Incredibly mediocre. Pork belly had a weird aftertaste, and my meal just generally tasted a bit off. It was food, so I ate it, but I don't think I would order supper from here again.

Miso ramen tasted like garlic broth. The vegetarian gyozas were just gross. Overpriced and underwhelming.

As someone who's Japanese and had ramen all my life, Strings is not good. I give a 3 star bc it was hard to find a good ramen place in Chicago when I reviewed this place. If you are used to American ramen that’s mid, I'd say this place is okay. I recommend Ramen Wasabi if you want authentic ramen that is good. Strings is still better than Furious Spoon, but I’d never go back. This place is a bit more expensive than other places and is not as flavorful. The noodles are cooked too long and mushy. Soup/Broth isn't as rich as I wanted it to be. Cha-shu (braided pork) is tough and tastes okay. I'd avoid it but it's worth going if you live nearby and are craving ramen.
