Retro music 🎶 played a bit TOO LOUD. I almost had to shout my order to the waitress, who was polite, but didn't seem too appreciative of my over tip. Breakfast was Delicious but a bit over priced, I mean I didnt expect to spend over 40 dollars for a waffle, eggs & turkey bacon. Nevertheless I did return a week later, Service was Extremely SLOW this time bro, even though they weren't that busy. I waited almost 15 minutes, only to have a waitress wait on someone that came in after me. And with that, I left without being served. So if you like being Ignored, spending almost 50 dollars for next to nothing & Loud retro music 🎶Stussy's is the place 4 you boo..

I waited an hour for my salmon croquettes, French toast, eggs, and grits. The salmon were overcooked, and the grits were nowhere near Cajun. After sitting for so long, not a single person checked on me. I had to ask how long my food would be, and they told me it would be ready in 5 minutes, but it took another 15 minutes. I don’t usually give bad reviews, but when the food doesn’t match the wait time, it’s a problem. To make matters worse, one slice of bread cut in half (the French toast) cost $5.99.

Possibly we caught them on a bad day. Sunday after church a cousin and I dined at Stussie's. 1st time for me order the skillet and the potatoes were hard and seems as though they were not fresh potatoes but right out of a freezer bag. I think the only thing fresh was the bacon and eggs. Toast was cold! We didn't want to be a bother because they seemed overwhelmed the staff did. Not sure if I will revisit.

I truly enjoyed my breakfast the scrambled soft eggs, chicken sausage the grits with American cheese and the star of the show my French toast. The service was great attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. This time I are solo I will be bring the family back.

Saw the diner on a local Chicago news station and made a point of trying Sunday brunch. Amazing service by all of the staffers, always smiling, especially Julisa, our server. My chicken and waffles, husband’s viral honey butter pancake, and our daughter’s cinnamon French toast filled our bellies and our hearts. The butterfly pea latte was georgous and delicious.

We had a great time today. #thecareycollective got enjoy brunch together @Stussy'sDiner ! The staff was awesome. The moved like a well oiled machine. Everyone was pleasant and attentive. My only complaint was I didn't get exactly what I ordered but what I got was definitely delicious. The management made it right without a second thought. Everyone was getting their food and no one looked like they had an issue with anything. There was a birthday party in the back and the staff even brought out sparklers like we were at club! So cool.

Me and my friend who went were not dressed for the occasion cuz apparently you supposed to wear pink when you come up in there. But aside from that, the service was interesting, and the food was good. I'm always a fan of any type of grits in the evening so the salmon and grits I think it had shrimp was good. If I lived around there, I would probably go back there for breakfast.
Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. There was only one server. Who had to do everything including bussing tables, online orders etc. She worked at a constant pace but there was no way to keep up appropriately. It eroded our experience considerably. And multiple guests had long wait time for service even though the dinner was half full. Very unfair to the server.

The food is good but the waiter or waitress is required by law to state the gratuity is already added to your bill. Also some of the prices do not match the amount on the menu. The hot chocolate was a different price on my receipt.
My husband left an additional monetary amount on the table too.

Went for Stussy soft opening for dinner. Best decision ever. The chicken and gravy was so yummy. It was so well seasoned and crispy. So many sides to choose from. I had the mash potatoes and they were Soooo gooood that I ordered a side to take home. The meal was so well worth the price and the service was amazing.
