Really rude service and mediocre food. Don't ask to split a check. MANY Better options in the city.

The food was good. I had the steak chimmichuri tacoss. Service was a little slow, but it was on a busy day. Eventually got some extra help to take orders and bring drinks.we did have afew drinks that is why price per person is a little

This was a good choice for lunch in the middle of our conference. It wasn't terribly busy so service was extremely quick. We probably only waited 5-10 minutes for our food after ordering. My friend ordered fish tacos and I ordered the steak chimichurri tacos. Delicious!! The outside is cute and inviting and the inside is fun.

This place is a bit of a sham. Sure it has all the bells and whistles that make it LOOK & SOUND like an authentic mexican restaurant but the food quality and selection say otherwise. I mean the chicken and beans seemed canned which is blasphamy, but they also dont even sell horchata! When I ask about this i was told "we are not a taqueria". Well id chose a run down hole in the wall over this place anyday. Not to mention, I originally went here to get sopes, which the online menu says they have, only to find out once I got there that they dont serve them. Well update your menu why dont you. Overall i guess this place will suffice as a downtown "mexican" joint but I wont be coming back unless Im in the mood for an imitation

I visited this small restaurant with a group of 9 people. The food was fantastic. However, when I politely asked our waitress to split the bill for our group of 5, she responded condescendingly in front of everyone, despite it being my first inquiry. The experience left a sour taste, and I won't be returning.

Su Casa was a short, brisk walk in the Chicago rain on a March day from my East Ontario Street hotel room. We missed the entrance because it was on the side and not on the front of Ontario Street. Once we entered, we stepped into a cozy, authentically decorated environment set in an older period of Mexican eateries. It has a bar with televisions for watching events and it also had a dining room with several tables and booth seating. Along the wall was a mural that told a story of the importance of of calalillies and sunflowers play in the culture. It was my favorite part of the restaurant. The nice waitress served a delicious and spicy fresh made salsa with the chips. I ordered beef tacos with rice and beans it was very tasty. Thanks Su Casa!.

Great atmosphere. Pretty good food. DON'T GET THE MARGARITAS! $16 for 6oz marg that is mediocre at best. The margs are so badly overpriced, not worth it at all!

Beans.. Beans... BEAN.... Tacos.. Burrito was somehow difficult for Koreans ㅠ The tortillas, kumkum... The nachos + water salsa that came as an appetizer were delicious. The atmosphere is loud and exotic. So I give it a star rating.

I am from LA so maybe I am just used to Bette Mexican food. But this place was pretty bad. Margaritta didn't taste like a Margaritta. Food was pretty bad. Chips were stale. Salsa was amazing and spicy. Staff was friendly. Other than that it's pretty bad.

The food was quite terrible, we ordered cheese dip and it came out looking like cheese dip scented candle.I also ordered a chicken cheese and rice and it came out looking like "rotisserie chicken and rice" The 1 star goes to the service. The floors were also quite dirty and there was a sticky substance on the floor.

I was craving Mexican food so I asked the gentleman at the hotel where I can find Mexican food. They warned me not to go to this place but I decided to give them a chance and I regret it so much! I was so disappointed with their "Mexican food". It was plain, cold and just not it. I suggest going else where unless you want to leave with a sad face like me.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend if visiting the city. Lots of margarita and tequila to choose from in a rustically stylised restaurant. The chicken fajita and fish tacos are a must try!

We discovered it by chance and enjoyed it to the fullest. Good atmosphere, Service and food. By the area in which they are located you can understand the prices.Oh and the food is not spicy!!!???
