Su Taqueria El Rey Del Taco

I came here after googling tacos in my area. The place is a cute corner spot near United Center with a small parking lot. I ordered the steak taco dinner which comes with a side of rice and refried beans. They also give you chips and salsa and I ordered a large horchata. Everything was really good! I’ll be back to try some of the drinks they have at the bar!

We went here as a back up to the sports bar/restaurant down the street and it was the best decision we made! This food was awesome! The chips were fresh, the guacamole was the best I’ve ever had and the green sauce mixture at the table was the best I’ve ever had and not too spicy. So good we were putting it on the chips. I also had steak tacos which were as good as good as my top choices. The margarita was also great! I would definitely drive the two hours to get here again.

New to chicago, came here because it was recommended to me, the place is small and parking may seem difficult, we got seated as soon as we arrived and the staff is very friendly and attentive coming multiple times to check on us. I order the quesabirrias $16, the consome was good, the tortilla was a little bit to soft for my liking, the cheese felt solid, but the meat was good (im biased when it comes to quesabirrias but theres were definitely in my top 5) , so overall a good experience, do recommend trying at least once!!!!!

This restaurant was recommended to me and I loved it. It is a hidden gem. Free parking. Clean location. Great fresh food. I loved the steak and prime rib tacos. Chips, salsa & sauce was excellent. Variety of options to choose from. I will be back. Highly recommend.

My daughter is staying at Rush at the moment; we decided to give this place a shot. Food was delicious. Ordered quesabirria tacos. The tacos were handmade and were a good size. Definitely recommend! Just next time give more lime, got a super small piece. Not enough for all tacos.
