Went to the Noah Rinker show and had a great experience!

I’ve been a regular at this bar, but this experience completely changed how I feel about it. When I arrived, I was told to use a Wells Fargo ATM nearby. When I went to do so, I discovered the bank was closed and the ATM was unavailable.
I calmly informed the doorman of this, and instead of offering any alternative or help, he immediately became aggressive and threatened to kick me out. This was unnecessary, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate—especially toward a paying customer who was simply explaining the situation.
To be fair, the manager from the production company did step in and spoke with us in an attempt to resolve the situation, and he was kind and respectful. Unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the way we were initially treated at the door.
For a place I’ve supported regularly, the lack of basic respect and customer service was disappointing. I won’t be returning if this is how guests are treated.

A Chicago iconic location and must visit. Unchanged since my younger years, an intimate location to see shows. We recently saw “Scoochie Boochie” look him up!
High School was crazy!
Great venue
Went to see a show. Bands were pretty good, sound was terrible. Pretty small crowd but the energy was good

Bought tickets for a show here and one of us was denied entry because the staff refused to accept a Google Wallet passport — a valid digital ID recognized by the TSA and even international airports. We tried to explain, but the door staff just said we were “holding up people behind us” and refused to even look at it.
I guess The Subterranean has higher security standards than international travel. 🙃
UPDATE: In response to the claim that digital ids were approved this week. False. The law authorizing digital ids was passed earlier this year. What was launched this week was simply a new program making it easier for apple users

It was really sick, my first concert, had a great view from the balcony and sound was great

An amazing venue, thoroughly enjoyed our show. Street parking was available, but would recommend public transportation if you can!

Very weird little place, you definitely expect it to be busier and I came here on a Saturday night at 8pm. I had a beer and a bourbon, it was good, they had a good selection of bourbons and beers.
The staff were nice but they were not quick.

Such a nice venue, especially upstairs. I wish it was easier for the people on the main floor during the concert to get upstairs to use the bathroom though. Super crowded.

Seems like a decent place, very small and intimate, and service was pretty fast, but don't bother seeing a show here. Their average run time is 30-45 minutes and then they kick the artist out. I have never seen a concert so short in my life. It's a disservice to the artists more than anything else.

It was a pretty nice venue, the bottom one is a little on the smaller size but not bad.
My only issue is there are few bathrooms upstairs making the wait time a little long

The acoustics were great seeing/hearing Michael Minelli. The bar was decent, the place needs work and touch ups but understand why it's old.
