Listen I know sometimes employees under pressure and let's be honest when certain individuals come in to order because of different race or color some get lax in how to move but anyway watched the young lady tackle the order of the person in front of touched the screen money etc with the plastic gloves on after thst I said to self plz dont grab my bread plz change the gloves but nope grab the bread I had to say stop plz change gloves she did with nooo problem but she pushed that bread back on the rack now someone else will get that contaminated bread but honestly I know things happen like this and worse but dont let the customer see other than thst everything was super clean and fresh.

Had a really great experience at the Subway on 1916 S State St, Chicago! I tried their pizza and honestly it was delicious fresh, flavorful, and made just the way I wanted. What made it even better was the lady working there she was very humble, patient, and super understanding while helping me customize my pizza. Really appreciated the friendly service. The vegetable and meat and soup is not fresh they vegetables look like it’s days old or frozen to the point from the days before prep I have gotten a salad the bowel was made with small portion it’s the only thing I eaten that day it gave me food poisoning the vegetables wasn’t up to part that I gotten sick of the it

The staff here is amazing, especially the girl not sure what her name is but I thinks Sanvi who always makes my sandwich with a smile. She’s very friendly, listens carefully to my instructions, and always gets the order right. She also makes delicious pizza, which honestly keeps me coming back. She’s very professional and well-trained. I often get sandwiches for my coworkers (Turkey, Tuna, and Pizza), and they love how fresh everything is and the care she puts into each order. Overall, I really enjoy visiting this Subway, with great service, great food, and a consistently pleasant experience.

I recently visited this Subway location on 1/20/26 around 6:15 PM, and I would not recommend it due to poor customer service. Two employees were working at the time. I ordered a footlong sandwich and asked if bacon could be added to only one half, which I have done at other Subway locations before. The employee became visibly frustrated when I also asked for the sandwich to be cut into four pieces. Instead of charging me for a footlong as ordered, I was charged for two separate subs, making my order about $3 more expensive. When I questioned this, I was told that’s “not how they do it,” despite my explanation. During this interaction, the employees spoke to each other in their native language, which felt unprofessional in front of customers. Additionally, a security guard was allowed to sit nearby and was extremely loud, which startled my young son. Overall, the staff lacked patience and basic customer service. I would not recommend this location.
