ordered a footling steak and cheese paid for double meat... the did have a foot long special, I picked up the sandwich and could tell something was up ...opened up my "double meat" sandwich to find it didn't even have regular meat... i told the short woman behind the counter she stated the owner JAY PATEL instructs them to short all sandwiches w promos ...even if double meat was paid for. *(not only did they short meat but veggies as well!) Short husky woman was rude couldn't care less about the situation. I asked for a refund she wouldn't provide one ...i asked for a receipt after fishing through the garbage for 5 mins, she spent another 5 reprinting one...and it should be noted she did not wash her hands before pulling out gloves and slicing the meat they serve.
AVOID THIS PLACE AND JAY PATELS Other location on bryn mawr and Winthrop.
Shady staff, shady business practices, and shady manager/owner.

Nasty place, and they don’t offer good ingredients
They don't take coupons (the only reason anyone with taste buds would stoop to subway) and their menu prices are higher than those in the area

Bizarre subway. I gave it another chance thinking it was an off day and it’s always that way. Do not bother with mobile orders, they don’t follow the e instructions and are incredibly ungenerous with portions. I was silly enough to if I to order a titan turkey sandwhich and this is what I got. I called back to ask for another or some kind of service, but they never pick up the phone. It is what it is but don’t come here

Very disappointed in my chicken bacon ranch from this subway. Never had a subway cheap out on not only the meat but veggies too.

I placed a mobile order at 8:10pm. Store closes at 9pm, although online says 10:30pm, but I come in pick up my subs at 8:30pm and the employee yells that next time don’t place an order after 8pm?! Very rude, and how do you tell that to a customer that? “I wanna go home” well then don’t work?People walk in after and he tell them same thing but they argue back, it’s only 8:30pm buddy.Terrible service. Sitting here waiting for my sub I ordered 20 min ago online while he is talking under his breath.

I've never had such a bizarre experience at a fast food place in my life.I placed an online order through the subway app on a Monday at 3:00. Once I got the notification saying it was ready for pickup I walked over to get it (took about 3 min). When I walked in the front door, I realized that I was the only customer inside and that they had just mopped the floor. I did think that it was kind of strange that they would mop in the middle of the day, but I stayed on the mat next to the door because I didn't want to mess it up while I waited to get my food. The older male employee behind the counter looked up and saw me but didn't say a word. Then another younger male employee stuck his head over the chip display in the back of the store and started yelling at me. I could not understand a word he was saying, and I apologized and told him as much. However, he just kept on yelling; he didn't slow down, I don't think he repeated himself, and gestured very vaguely but not helpfully. Eventually, I had no choice but to try to talk over him to say that I was there because I had a pickup order that had already been paid for and supposedly prepared. He kept yelling but did eventually go around behind the counter and picked up a bag with my name on it. I walked over grabbed it and couldn't get out of there fast enough.I have no idea what was happening, or what the employees were so upset about. My only explanation is that maybe they were trying to close early without management's approval? Because why else would they try to frighten a customer out the door when they knew that someone would be coming to pick up an order in the middle of the day on a weekday???Having read other reviews on this Subway, and after talking to some of my coworkers who have had similarly bad experiences with those same two employees, I don't think anyone should be patronizing this Subway, and frankly it either needs to be restaffed or shut down.

Walked in for the first time and was told cash only. Didn’t have much cash on me but figured I would at least try the $5 cookie. They were also out of cookies so had to leave.

Bad and not fresh meat
Guy working at the counter does not change gloves. He will touch the computer and also the credit card reader and proceed with next customer without changing gloves. as he was making my footlong he got a call and decide to answer, not a problem with that but he wanted to put toppings on my sandwich with dirty gloves is just very unsanitary.
Parking is easy. Clean but the bathroom is “out of service”. Many restaurants are not letting paying customers to wash their hands or use the bathroom.How do the employees go?
