Rude employee
The staff is regularly very rude to customers (making faces like placing an order is an inconvenience), and they also tend to have trouble understanding what customers tell them. Furthermore, this location is also VERY stingey with their vegetables.
While I normally wouldn't leave negative reviews just over attitude, on my latest trip to the restaurant, they refused to honor their meal of the day promotion (specifically their $9.99 footlong version, which is a $3 upcharge from the $6.99 6-inch deal), stating that, despite a sign in the window specifically mentioning the $9.99 option and Subway's own website allowing the option to order it online, they only honor the 6-inch version. After I showed the on-going promotion on my phone, the worker I was talking to (possibly the owner) called an employee over and started quietly coaching her how to put my order into the cash register and what to tell me when it was time for me to pay, as if I wouldn't hear. It is not acceptable for a franchise restaurant to claim they participate in a cross-location deal, only for them not honor it once you order.
On the plus side, they do have a very clean restaurant and good quality food. Their vegetables are often fresher those found at other Subway locations, even if they give considerably fewer.
Gave this location several tries, but unfortunately will not be going back.

Not worth the expense - and prices on board do not match prices on register which are more expensive , and I had to ask for the receipt to verify. Avoid at all costs. There's another subway 2 blocks away if you have to have subway.

The food and meat is good, but the customer service is pretty bad. People are rude - as many others have noted. No bathroom either

I placed an order with this Subway well before closing time—they close at 10:30pm, and I deliberately chose this location over another (closer) one that closed earlier to avoid being that customer who orders right before close. I paid for my food, got a pickup time of 9:20pm, and when I showed up? Doors locked. Lights on. And the guy inside just gives me a neck-cutting motion like “we’re done.” No explanation, no apology, nothing.
Why accept the order and my money if you’re not going to bother fulfilling it? Either update your hours or don’t take orders you won’t honor. Thankfully, there is a Jewel-Osco across the street that actually stays open when it says it does and had better sandwiches for less money.
Won’t be back. Get it together.

Had a shitty experience like others who have been here. I was told by coupons would not be accepted or honored. I should have let them make the sandwich, then busted the coupon out.

hours on google and doordash are completely wrong.
I thought online orders were to be prepared by the time the customer arrives. Potbelly and Jimmy jons would have already had the order together plus there’s no one here so why isn’t the order ready

ordered a footling steak and cheese paid for double meat... the did have a foot long special, I picked up the sandwich and could tell something was up ...opened up my "double meat" sandwich to find it didn't even have regular meat... i told the short woman behind the counter she stated the owner JAY PATEL instructs them to short all sandwiches w promos ...even if double meat was paid for. *(not only did they short meat but veggies as well!) Short husky woman was rude couldn't care less about the situation. I asked for a refund she wouldn't provide one ...i asked for a receipt after fishing through the garbage for 5 mins, she spent another 5 reprinting one...and it should be noted she did not wash her hands before pulling out gloves and slicing the meat they serve.
AVOID THIS PLACE AND JAY PATELS Other location on bryn mawr and Winthrop.
Shady staff, shady business practices, and shady manager/owner.
