Hit up Sugar Blow in Lakeview—cute AF spot that’s part cafe, part boutique. Snagged some empanadas, the famous tequeños, and a double latte— ended up around $25. The empanadas had that crispy golden crust and melty filling, and the tequeños? Legit the best in Chi-town. Vibe’s chill, owner’s super friendly, and the space is cozy with cool merch. Perfect hang spot—highly recommend!

Tons of coffee and lemonade flavors along with pastries. We stopped in for a quick cold drink but ended up staying a while to check out the cute clothes and accessories. Calm and inviting atmosphere and the barista was very sweet :)

Would love to visit again next time we’re in town!

I dream about this pabellon empanada!! And don’t pass on the cookies. There is a guava one that is incredible!

Cute boutique that also sells delicious empanadas. Well filled with a flakey crust.

I am disappointed. I came from far away and it is closed. It says it is open on google and on the store door says open too.

Such a cute little spot! The service was phenomenal—so friendly and super helpful with recommendations. I went with the Pabellón empanada, and wow, it was sooo good. Only $5.50 for a pretty big empanada, and it came out almost immediately.

The vibe here is perfect for grabbing a coffee and reading a book or catching up with a friend. The music wasn’t too loud, and they have two cozy tables by the window. Plus, there’s a little boutique inside with super cute clothes! Highly recommend stopping by, especially if you have a group of four or less.

Great coffee honestly one of the best espressos I’ve had in Chicago but wish it had more sit down options!

When I entered the shop I was confused at first whether they have any food besides the cookies and coffee presented at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and politely told me about the place and what they offer. I was surprised they were open since the google timetable was showing it should be closed at that time in the morning.
The place smells great, as in high end clothing stores and in addition to that I really liked the Julius Meinl coffee and the empanada. It was full of flavourful meat. The sauce accompanying it was delicious addition. As I am writing this I decided to go and have one tomorrow morning 🤤

I recently visited this standout coffee shop and was thoroughly impressed. Their baked empanadas are absolutely divine, especially the chicken and beef varieties, and the prices are incredibly affordable. The recent renovation has given the space an elegant and modern feel, creating a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a delicious cup of coffee or browsing their high-quality sportswear collection. The staff provided exceptional service, and the seasonal menu ensures there's always something new to try. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee, savoring a fresh pastry, or shopping for stylish clothing, this unique café & boutique concept truly sets itself apart in Chicago. I can't wait to return!
