Always have good drinks and good vibes. Spot is never over crowded so you have space to chill or even dance a little. Drinks are nice and strong but still tasty. Been going here for years and definitely will continue to do so.

Ah, the posh and exclusive SUITE lounge. I've come to this place on and off for the past decade. It is a great place to visit while bar hopping on the Sunset strip. It is located at the Mondrian hotel, and it is a tad bit easier to get in here if you are a guest. If you are not a guest, standard rules apply for getting into a bar/club in IL.

Nicest upscale bar on the strip. Hands down. Beautiful pool area with great views, seating and/or cabanas depending on what time of day or year you come. Either way, it's great. If you're looking to impress on a first date, you will not fail here. If it doesn't impress, say I had a great day/evening and move on. Four different areas, all connected but with completely separate and distinct vibes. All great. Excellent cocktail, wine and bubbles selection at the bar above the pool. DJs and pool parties held here often. This is technically not a rooftop bar however it is roofless on good days and it is elevated 2-3 stories. Though only the elite stay and hang out here, everyone is welcome. Highly recommended anytime of the day, year-round.

So I came to Skybar on a Friday night and I was under the assumption that the bar would be on a rooftop because of the name, but that was my bad for not doing my research properly! It's located in the middle of the Mondrian Hotel and you can definitely get a view of LA, but it's not as great as the view from other DTLA rooftop bars. 3/4 of the view is of the towering hotel windows, so it wasn't the best. The bar here is also covered with a tent, so you also have to leave the bar to get some fresh air. I think it's still a good bar to go to if it's raining outside, but if you're looking for a breathtaking rooftop bar in LA, this is not the place.

Dope location and vibe. Came here at 11 on a hot Sunday night. Had a few drinks with friends, enjoyed the view and basked in the "LA-ness" of it all.The drink was a little weak, but I didn't really mind as I was enjoying everything else about being here.
