Came here for my first Gymshoe sandwich. It shouldn’t work, but somehow these is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in the city. I’ll come back for sure next time I’m in the neighborhood!

My middle daughter told me about this place and she wanted me to bring her a gym shoe sandwich actually 2. I tasted it when I got up to Washington and wow it was good. So when I got back to Chicago I went and bought one and I took my girlfriend with me and bought her one as well. We both enjoyed it immensely.

Hood food at its finest . Try the gym shoe sandwich here . Hard to find these up north and they make pretty good one. The sun sub is a spin on it as they add 1 more meat to it (skirt steak ) . The gym shoe is roast beef corned beef gyro meat onions, cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, tzatziki sauce and giardiniera peppers . Do your self a favor order the large cause you gonna want more later . Personal favorite right here
