Suncatcher Brewing is a great brewery and gathering place in Chicago, considered by many to be the best in the city at the moment. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and friendly, like sitting in your living room with friends. It features the best beer garden in the city, and when the patio is closed, indoor seating is limited but worth the wait.
The beer is immaculate, simple but amazing, with a focus mainly on lower ABV beers. They typically offer five or six excellent house beers, such as a Dark Mild, Pale Ales, and a Blonde, plus a few guest taps and cans. There is no packaged beer to-go unless you order a crowler. The staff is amazing, super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable.
Located between West Chicago Ave and West Grand Ave, it is easy to get there by bus from downtown. It is a great place to see friends or spend time alone, and a highly recommended visit for anyone in Chicago.
