I love sunflower bakery! So tasty, convenient, and lovely. 💖
Malibu Barbie 10/10
definitely a hidden gem here. i haven’t been here in a while, but got it delivered today and it’s still so fresh and amazing. people should be going here more, great tasting espresso and their hungry caterpillar sandwich is fire. 100/10
A cute bakery/grocery store that passes the vibe check 1000%. The French Toast Bake was crazy. I'll be coming back for sure!
The sweetest workers and delicious food and coffee
I quite enjoy this little spot inside a grocer near my bus stop. Only issue is portions are small and prices are inflated. 16oz latte advertised with 3 shots of espresso but apparently that’s only for the hot latte. You have to pay extra for the 3rd shot when it’s iced. Makes no sense given the overall price of the latte and the fact that iced drinks use less milk due to… ice. Also, be prepared to wait for your order.
Great sandwiches! Make sure to go on a day that has fresh break and ask for a baguette those are the best! They use Hexe coffee which is one of my favorites as well. The staff is always super friendly and they have a great assortment of baked goods if you need to satisfy your morning sweet tooth!
Great baked goods and coffee! Fresh croissants, indulgent doughnuts, yummy coffee, and much more breakfast options. Atmosphere is a supermarket so staying in is not the coziest.
This place is delicious and the staff and owner are as friendly as can be. I seriously eat this place 3x a week. It’s so quick and easy and all of the sandwiches are unique and flavorful. I fully recommend Sunflower!

Sunflour Bakery and Cafe is a cozy little spot that’s perfect for your morning coffee fix or an afternoon pick-me-up. Their lattes are super smooth, and the pastries? Chef’s kiss—flaky, fresh, and not overly sweet. The vibe is chill, with plenty of natural light, making it a great spot to post up with a laptop or catch up with a friend. Definitely a hidden gem if you’re in the neighborhood and want to skip the usual chain coffee spots.

I absolutely adore this place. It’s my favorite patisserie in the neighborhood. Everyone here radiates beautiful and positive energy, and there are plenty of smiles to go around.
My absolute favorite pastry here is the tomato basil Danish. I absolutely love it!
A constant delight in this neighborhood! The witches brew is one of the best coffee drinks I have EVER had and once the barista explained I could order it year round, I was HOOKED!
During the summer, we stop by on our way to stroll by the lake/beach but also try to get over there whenever we can in the winter.
ps… do NOT skip getting a sandwich. You’re welcome!
It is such a blessing to have a local, woman owned and run breakfast sandwich (and lunch too) and coffee spot in the neighborhood. There is no way in the world the owner could have hired sweeter employees. The food? Amazing. Literally writing this as I eat my bacon egg and cheese because THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW. everything is so fresh, I often hate eggs but the way they make them doesn’t give me the ick at all, the pastries are bangin. They make amazing coffees and they got a whole bunch of unique offerings on there. As someone who operates on night hours, their sammies are huge motivation to get up early. Thanks guys 💕
Yummy sandwich and coffee - shame both came to $17 (that’s a half price drink included, guessing over $20 full price?), north buena deli is $8/9 for a sandwich, should be cheaper!
Nice drink/sandwich shop inside a small market.
The staff are very positive and inviting.
Great customer service!
The sandwich I ordered (bacon & egg) was decent. Nothing spectacular but solid and came out within 10 minutes.
