The barbecue was old very salty I didn’t like it horrible will never eat here again.

My daughter bought me some fish from Sonny’s a few months back and it was so delicious so this Saturday she called me and asked me do I want any more fish from somebody she was there I I was on a fast, but I said yeah, she got me a large Whiting fish order and I wish I had stayed on my fast. It was so salty. I couldn’t even enjoy it. I just threw it in the trash.

My fries were hard. I had feathers on my wings and the wings were salty. Every other wing was small. It was awful. I always had good food but this was just awful. I live too far to bring it back. My food should not be this bad. Food cost way too much. To come way back to the store would cost me far more in gas. I can’t do this. It’s such an insult

Ordered through door dash half of the rib tips were overcooked or old,,, chicken wings were fried in dirty grease and burnt tasting,,, the links were dried out.. you all have to do better I spent way to much money for that mess yall call food delivered to me. Will not order or recommend this restaurant.

I visited the Sonny’s in South Holland for the first time and will NEVER, EVER go again!! The lady at the window had the WORST attitude EVER! Guess this is a black owned business that employee their family members that’s going to be the cause of them failing! I wish it was a zero no higher option on here because that’s what the hell they would get from me!!!!!
The the rib tips were tough and burnt on the end where you couldn't even chew it total let down after getting turkey tips and was happy last time smh the sad part about it I went to a football party the next day and the ribs were perfect and tender including the rib tips would you let me know this place is not good

I ordered turkey tips online on doordash but instead I get pork tips I was looking forward because I thought the reviews are great I won't be ordering from them again because they don't pay attention sad part doordash only gave me $6.34 in credit

I've been to this restaurant in South Holland, and let me tell you, Sunny's Barbeque is one of the best I've ever tasted. I know there are other great restaurants out there like Harold's Chicken, but nothing can touch Sunny's when it comes to true Southern barbecue. I've heard that they originated in the South. Some say Florida, others say Mississippi, but I'm not sure. But I tell you, the South surely knows how to make good food. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I really want to try their steak burgers, which never seem to stay in stock because people buy them like crazy. I'm hoping that they add a little bit of barbecue sauce to them. Can't wait to try them out! 😋🍖

I ordered the large Turkey Tips Mild, and they were really good. I should have asked for the thin cut as some of the pieces were too large for me. It was enough to feed two, maybe three people. Service was fast, and the order taker was very friendly.
I took a chance to go here after reading some reviews...I'm not disappointed. If I'm in the area again, I will stop by.

Turkey links are awesome. Enough parking, clean but nowhere to sit if u have to wait a bit for food and it is large enough to provide Customer seating. Staff was pleasant and patient.
